This paper deals with design of rapid hardening Portland cement compositions modified ultrafine mineral additives, polycarboxylate type superplasticizer, alkalicontaining activator. Nanoparticles relating to microheterogeneous systems are characterized by high values of specific interfacial area and “excess surface energy” and promote more complete synergic effect of other components activity. The possibility of increasing of liquid phase alkalinity due to interaction of sodium sulphate and calcium hydroxide in the presence of such ultrafine aluminium containing additives as metakaolin was established.

W artykule przedstawiono szybkotwardniejące kompozyty z cementu portlandzkiego modyfikowane ultradrobnymi dodatkami mineralnymi oraz domieszkami superplastyfikatora polikarboksylanowego i aktywatora alkalicznego. Nanocząstki systemów mikroheterogenicznych charakteryzują się wysokimi wartościami powierzchni właściwej międzyfazowej oraz "nadmiarem energii powierzchniowej", co powoduje bardziej kompletny synergiczny efekt działania innych składników. Uzyskano możliwość zwiększenia aktywności alkalicznej fazy ciekłej ze względu na interakcje siarczanu sodu i wodorotlenku wapnia w obecności ultradrobnych cząstek aluminium zawierających dodatki, takie jak metakaolin.

In the paper results of structure formation of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) mixtures based on superplasticized cementitious systems and properties of hardened SCC are shown. During the hydration process in the superplasticized cementitious systems “Portland cement clinker - gypsum - mineral additives - limestone microfiller - polycarboxylates - alkali-metal salts” there is a reaction in the unclinker part with formation of ettringite by a topo-chemical reaction, which provides the compaction of cement matrix of SCC. The SCC on the basis superplasticized cementitious systems are characterized by such properties as high strength, corrosion resistance, frost resistance, low porosity, high reliability and durability of constructions in different conditions.

Content available remote Effectiveness of complex modificators in concrete

The paper is devoted to obtain high performance concrete with complex modificators and investigation of its exploitative properties. It was shown, that improved characteristic of concrete are achieved by optimal granulometric composition of fine, coarse aggregates and complex modificators plastifying and accelerating on the basis of sulphonaftalin-formaldehydes, polycarboxylates and highly soluble electrolytes, such as sodium tiosulfate and rodanide. The optimal compositions of complex modificators due synergic action of their ingredients allowed to obtain concrete with improved properties durability and provided efficiency in monolithic building.
