The second part of the article is dedicated to the post-war history of the Polish Army Museum. The most important works carried out in that period were to take over and catalogue collections and also to restore the exhibits. In 1948 the following organisational units existed in the Museum: historical section of historic ordinance and uniforms, historical section of contemporary Polish Armed Forces since 1920, library and iconography section, museum cataloguing section, purchase, donations, gifts and deposits section, and administrative - economic section. Successive exhibitions and their creators have been discussed in the article. Special attention was paid to the contribution and personal engagement of the museum employees in preparing the exhibitions.

The article describes establishing the Polish Army Museum and its activities in 1945 - 1949. After-the-war lots of the Museum have been presented: the return to work of its former employees and museum co-workers, their energetic and effective actions to restore the army central museum and to build its two branches in Malbork and Wrocław. Redecorating the building, progress in collecting exhibits and their conservation - all this enabled organising a permanent exhibition and opening the museum on 20th January 1946, on the first anniversary of capturing the left bank of Warsaw.

The article discusses the establishing of the House of the Polish Army and its activities in the 40s. The author presents all the chief of this cultural centre of a great merit for our armed forces. He points out the most important events organised by the House and mentioned the artists: musicians, painters, dancers who co-created military cultural life. The article includes many excerpts of press reviews.

The article presents the activity of mentioned in the title, major Polish Army technical cadre training centre in the first post war years. Due to the little number of Polish air force personnel in that period, the centre training effort was focused on preparing in a short time a large number of junior specialists who would be able to replace Russian citizens coming back to their homeland. Thanks to well organised training works this aim was achieved in 1947. Organisational and personnel transformations and programme changes that the school underwent in the whole period of its existence have been presented in the article. Political and educational activities, social conditions and every day routines of the school cadre and students have been described. The author’s reports on the school cadre and students characteristics in education and social background have a cognitive value.
