W publikacji zaprezentowano rolę metody QFD w kreowaniu innowacji, omówiono podstawowe założenia koncepcji Desigh Thinking oraz zaprezentowano powiązania pomiędzy obszarami QFD a etapami Design Thinking.

The publication presents issues concerning the application of the QFD method in the case of the Design Thinking concept. Its aim is to present the possibilities of using the QFD method in Desigh Thinking from the theoretical perspective of compliance with the assumptions of the method. The publication presents the role of the QFD method in creating innovation, discusses the basic assumptions of the Desigh Thinking concept and presents the links between the areas of QFD and the stages of Design Thinking.

Istotnym elementem wpływającym na realizację procesu spawania są niezgodności. Wynikają one między innymi z przyczyn technicznych i organizacyjnych przedsiębiorstwa oraz pojawiają się na różnym etapie realizacji procesów. Spełnienie wymagań systemów zarządzenia jakością opartych o normy PN-EN ISO 9001 oraz PN-EN ISO 3834 pomaga zmniejszyć ryzyko występowania niezgodności i ograniczyć ich skutki. Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie wpływu niezgodności systemowych na realizację procesów spawalniczych. Dokonano analizy wpływu tych niezgodności na prawidłowe wykonanie konstrukcji spawanej.

Nonconformities are core elements which affect welding process performance. They are, among others, the result of technical and organisational reasons and they occur on different stages of the process. Fulfilling the requirements of quality management systems based on PN-EN ISO 9001 and PN-EN ISO 3834 supports reducing the risk of nonconformities occurrence and as a result, limits their consequences. The aim of the article is to illustrate the influence of nonconformities on welding processes and on welding construction performance.

The selected quality tools were used in the organization to optimize the process of exchange of the grinding wheel. Test study, conducted in the organization indicated that the wheel may be changed every 270 hours of continuous operation. The use of the calculated cycle in practice has increased the number of manufactured products in the case of non-conforming products. The problem has been solved by using quality tools and analysis of the obtained results. For this purpose, we conducted: brainstorming, Pareto-Lorenz analysis and implemented the Sheward’s Charts. The results of the research has helped to identify the causes of the differences arising between the testing process and the actual course of the grinding process and to determine the optimum operating times for each wheel positions.

Dwie organizacje do badań zostały wybrane na podstawie doboru celowego - ich szczegółowa charakterystyka jest przedstawiona w publikacji. Następnie stosując rachunek zdań rozmytych dokonano porównania badanych organizacji w zakresie założonych kryteriów. We wnioskach dokonano analizy różnic występujących w zakresie skuteczności badanych systemów zarządzania jakością.

The article focuses on the issue of the effectiveness of quality management systems. The aim of the publication is to use the fuzzy-logic analysis for comparative analysis of quality management systems of two organizations from the metal processing industry. Two organizations for research were selected on the basis of purposeful selection - their detailed characteristics are presented in the publication. Then, using the fuzzy sentences analysis, a comparison of the surveyed organizations with regard to the assumed criteria was made. In the conclusions we analyzed the differences in the effectiveness of the quality management systems under examination.

Dla poszczególnych instrumentów określono który z nich jest skuteczny. Dla poszczególnych instrumentów określono również współczynniki konkordancji ekspertów.

The article focuses on the issue of the effectiveness of quality methods, techniques and tools. The aim of this publication is to analyze the effectiveness of quality management methods, tools and techniques in the metalworking industry using the expert analysis method. The publication presents the results of expert analysis on the discussed topic. The method of selection of experts was presented and then a detailed analysis of tools, methods and techniques of quality management from the point of view of their suitability in the metal processing industry was made. For each instrument we analyze which one is effective. The expert concordance coefficients have also been calculated for individual instruments.

The article presents the development of e-administration in Poland after joining the European Union and resulting responsibilities. One of the most important elements of the implementation of e-administration in municipal offices was the reduction of visits to the office itself and dealing with official matters via the Internet. In municipal offices, matters must be dealt with by all citizens also by people with disabilities. The second part of the article presents the results of the analysis of how the introduction of e-administration affects the service of the disabled customer on the example of the city of Żywiec.

W artykule przedstawiono rozwój e-administracji Polsce po wejściu do Unii Europejskiej i wynikające z tego obowiązki. Jednym z ważniejszych elementów wdrażania e-administracji w urzędach miejskich było zmniejszenie wizyt w samym urzędzie i załatwianie spraw urzędowych przez Internet. W urzędach miejskich sprawy muszą załatwiać wszyscy obywatele również osoby niepełnosprawne. W drugiej części artykułu przedstawiono wyniki analizy w jaki sposób wprowadzenie e-administracji wpływa na obsługę klienta niepełnosprawnego na przykładzie miasta Żywiec.

The quality of joints in welded structures very often determines their suitability for further safe operation. The quality of welds assessed at least B, according to the PN-EN ISO 5817 standard, is the criterion for allowing many welded structures to be used in working conditions. The quality level B can be considered good, provided that the tested construction is not intended for use in extreme working conditions or in high-risk conditions. Strict acceptance criteria are applied to such environments, and the welds tested preferably meet the requirements of class B and do not have any defects. Even small discrepancies in the form of blisters, concave faces, etc. (qualifying for quality class B welds) should not be found in welds used for responsible steel constructions working in hazardous conditions. These defects may cause a loss of consistency of the material and, consequently, lead to a serious disaster. The article evaluated the quality of welded joints of selected welded elements of a power boiler. The inspection of welded joints was aimed at confirming the correctness of their performance and compliance with the technological and construction documentation as well as with the tightened technical acceptance conditions. As a result of visual and non-destructive tests, ultrasonic joints were allowed or withdrawn from further safe operation.

This paper describes the cooperation between business incubator centers and the academic programs at local universities. Students and faculty from four different majors, Engineering, Business, Information Science Technology (IST) and Communication provided comprehensive assistance to new start-up and existing companies. At the same time, the students were gaining valuable experience learning the complexity of entrepreneurial ventures. Students were also developing the ability for cross-disciplinary oral and written communication.

Jakość złączy spawanych konstrukcji jest jednym z elementów determinujących ich przydatność do dalszej bezpiecznej eksploatacji. Połączenie wykonane niezgodnie z wymaganiami może być przyczyną poważnej awarii a nawet katastrofy. Na podstawie norm PN-EN ISO 5817:2014-05 oraz PN-EN ISO 23278:2015-05 można określić poziom jakości produkcji połączeń spawanych. Nie należy mylić go z poziomem określania przydatności eksploatacyjnej danego wyrobu, chociaż norma PN-EN ISO 23278:2015-05 może być stosowana na potrzeby kontroli podczas eksploatacji. Przydatność eksploatacyjna konstrukcji spawanych zależy bowiem, od wielu czynników. Za przydatność do dalszej eksploatacji odpowiada najsłabsze ogniwo w analizowanej konstrukcji (może to być połączenie spawane ale także stopień degradacji materiału konstrukcyjnego itd.). W przytoczonych normach podano poziomy jakości na podstawie niezgodności spawalniczych w złączach spawanych (z wyjątkiem spawania wiązką) dla wszystkich rodzajów stali. Poziomy jakości obejmują spoiny czołowe i spoiny pachwinowe. Podano trzy stopnie jakości umożliwiające stosowanie dla szerokiego zakresu produkcji spawalniczej. Oznaczono je symbolami B, C i D. W przypadku wirników wentylatorów pneumatycznych, służących do transportu cząstek stałych, wymagany jest najwyższy poziom jakości. Poziom ten oznaczono symbolem B. Stanowi on jedno z kryteriów dopuszczenia złącza do zastosowań w warunkach eksploatacji spawanego urządzenia. Poziom B jakości można uznać za wystarczający, pod warunkiem, że badana konstrukcja nie jest przeznaczona do zastosowań w ekstremalnych warunkach pracy lub warunkach podwyższonego ryzyka. W takich przypadkach kryteria odbioru mogą być zaostrzone. Poziom B dopuszcza niewielkie niezgodności w postaci pęcherzy, wklęsłego lica itp. W normach określono warunki (cechy geometryczne i ilościowe) wad materiałowych, które mogą znaleźć się w spoinach oraz ich wartości graniczne, które determinują klasę jakości produkcji danej spoiny. W zależności od warunków odbioru, stanowią one jedno z kryteriów oceny spoiny do danych zastosowań. W artykule oceniono jakość produkcyjną wszystkich złączy spawanych wirnika wentylatora pneumatycznego, pracującego w kopalni. Wykonane badania kontrolne miały na celu stwierdzenie poprawności wykonania złączy oraz określenie, które z połączeń nie spełnia kryteriów odbioru. Połączenia, które nie zostały zaklasyfikowane do poziomu jakości B zostały wymienione.

The quality of welded joints of the structure is one of the elements determining their suitability for further safe operation. A combination conecting inconsistently with the requirements may cause a serious failure or even a catastrophe. On the basis of PN-EN ISO 5817: 2014-05 and PN-EN ISO 23278: 2015-05 standards, the quality level of welded joints production can be determined. It should not be confused with the level of determining the operational suitability of a given product, although the PN-EN ISO 23278: 2015-05 standard may be used for the purposes of control during operation. The usefulness of the welded structures depends on many factors. The weakest link in the analyzed structure (the welded joint but also the degree of degradation of the construction material, etc.) is responsible for the suitability for further use. The quality standards given in the quoted standards are based on weld incompatibilities in welded joints (except for beam welding) for all types of steel. Quality levels include butt welds and fillet welds. Three grades of quality are given to enable the use in a wide range of welding production. They have been marked with the symbols B, C and D. In the case of rotors of pneumatic fans, used for the transport of solid particles, the highest level of quality is required. This level is marked with the symbol B. It is one of the criteria for allowing the connector to be used in the operating conditions of the welded device. The quality level B may be considered sufficient, provided that the tested construction is not intended for use in extreme operating conditions or in high-risk conditions. In such cases, the acceptance criteria may be tightened. Level B allows for slight discrepancies in the form of blisters, concave faces, etc. The standards define the conditions (geometrical and quantitative features) of material defects that may be in the joints and their limit values, which determine the quality class of the given weld. Depending on the reception conditions, they are one of the criteria for assessing the weld for specific applications. The article assessed the production quality of all welded joints of a pneumatic fan rotor operating in a mine. The control tests carried out were aimed at confirming the correctness of the execution of joints and determining which connection did not meet the acceptance criteria. Connections that were not classified to the quality level B have been listed.

The recruitment process is indispensable to have a reasonable staff that fulfills all needs of a production process. The aim of the paper is to analyze the selection of employees in the industrial organization especially in the context: techniques used in the recruitment process, used selection methods and changes proposed in the recruitment process. Summing up the results of research, one can point out that the most frequent causes of aspirations for the workplace by the respondents were the financial issues and the desire for self-development. The most popular recruitment technique used in the recruitment process was online classifieds. Observation shows that this is a common recruitment technique. Among the selection methods, the most popular was the CV and cover letter, which was indicated by almost all the respondents.

Proces rekrutacji jest niezbędny aby organizacja posiadała odpowiedni personel, który spełnia wszystkie wymagania procesu produkcyjnego. Celem artykułu jest analiza procesu selekcji pracowników w organizacji przemysłowej, w szczególności w kontekście: technik stosowanych w procesie rekrutacji, stosowanych metod selekcji oraz zmian proponowanych w procesie rekrutacji. Podsumowując wyniki badań, można wskazać, że najczęstszymi przyczynami aspiracji do pracy w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym wskazywanymi przez respondentów były kwestie finansowe i chęć do samorozwoju. Najpopularniejszą metodą rekrutacyjną stosowaną w procesie rekrutacji były ogłoszenia online. Analiza pokazuje, że jest to obecnie powszechna technika rekrutacji. Wśród metod selekcji najbardziej popularne były CV i list motywacyjny, na co wskazywali prawie wszyscy respondenci.
