This paper presents the results of simulation research of an off-line-trained, feedforward neural-network-based state estimator. The investigated system is the mechanical part of an electrical drive characterised by elastic coupling with a working machine, modelled as a dual-mass system. The aim of the research was to find a set of neural network structures giving useful and repeatable results of the estimation. The mechanical resonance frequency of the system has been adopted at the level of 9.3-10.3 Hz. The selected state variables of the mechanical system are load, speed and stiffness torque of the shaft.

The study presents results and procedure of object-oriented and test-driven implementation of neural-network-based state estimator. The presented algorithm has been developed for estimation of the state variables of the mechanical part of electric drive with elastic coupling. Estimated state variables – load speed and shaft stiffness torque – can be used in speed control process for reducing mechanical vibrations of working machine. The basic objective was to create a simple, extensible and readable program code, performing the task of state estimation of the considered system. The target platform is a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) from SHARC (Super Harvard architecture Single-Chip Computer) family, which allows for hardware acceleration of matrix operations. The IDE (Integrated Development Environment) available for the selected platform made it possible to write program in C++. The usage of UML (Unified Modelling Language) in the development of control software was discussed.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki implementacji trzech dyskretnych metod estymacji wektora stanu układu dynamicznego – obserwatora Luenbergera, filtru Kalmana i estmatora neuronowego. Implementacji dokonano w języku C++, w środowisku VisualDSP 5.0, przy założeniu wykorzystania algorytmów do obserwacji stanu części mechanicznej napędu elektrycznego, charakteryzującego się sprężystym połaczeniem z maszyną roboczą. Wykorzystano technikę programowania obiektowego.

Article presents the results of implementation of three discrete methods of estimation of the state vector of the dynamic system - Luenberger observer, Kalman filter and neural network estimator. Implementation was done in C ++, in an VisualDSP 5.0 environment, assuming the use of algorithms to observe the state of the mechanical part of the electric drive, characterized by a elastic connection with the working machine. Autors had used object-oriented programming technique.

Content available Filtration of digital signals using wavelets

The article constitutes a set of research referring to the removal of the noise of Gaussian distribution of signal using wavelet analysis. The thesis has been launched of presentation of existing analysis algorithms, starting of discrete transform related to Mallat’s algorithm, and ending with the selected methods on inverse wavelet transform. The task was carried out by using the simulation scripts of package Wavelet Toolbox in MATLAB. The studies of using on-line filtering algorithms has been undergone. The delay value, which was implemented by the various filtration methods, was determined through simulations. The inclusion of the comparison of results allows to evaluate the quality of filtration.

This paper presents methods for the identification of mechanical resonance of multi mass direct drive system. Methods have been applied in the field of digital signal processing. Was used spectral analysis to identify the mechanical resonance frequencies of direct drive with elastic connection. Discussed methods of identification have been verified by simulation and real system. Two different input signal was presented: sine and chirp wave. Both input signals gave good result for determine mechanical resonance frequencies, however sine wave with variable frequency determined only for the number of frequency corresponding to the input signal frequency gave better result for determine mechanical antyresonance frequencies.

Review of spectral analysis algorithms was done. Spectral analysis with additional algorithm allows to determine the mechanical resonance frequency of multi-mass system. Determination of resonance frequencies allow for proper tune the digital filter. This paper presents selected algorithms of determine signal spectrum. In order to determine the mechanical resonance frequency from the whole spectrum, it is require to use an additional algorithm that was omitted from the consideration. The algorithms were implemented for the digital signal processor SHARC family. Proposed algorithms were implemented in C and using complex data structures in C++. The use of C++ allows for the simplification of the program. The algorithms were compared in terms of computational complexity and memory usage.

Review of the filter structures was made. Digital filters allow filtering the speed signal in control loop of direct drive with a mechanical resonance. The analogue filter equations were transformed into digital filters to enable tune them in real time. Digital filters and tuning algorithms have been implemented for signal processor SHARC family. Implementation of digital filters was done using C language and complex data structures in C++ language. The presented algorithms and transformation enable to reduce time needed to implement the digital filter in the speed control loop of the analysed drive system.

Artykuł przedstawia porównanie przekształceń czasowo-częstotliwościowych zastosowanych do analizy wybranych sygnałów z napędu z połączeniem elastycznym. Omówiono wybrane przekształcenia czasowo-częstotliwościowe, takie jak transformata Fouriera, transformata Gabora czy transformata falkowa. Analizowanym sygnałem jest prędkość kątowa napędu elektrycznego z połączeniem elastycznym pomiędzy silnikiem a mechanizmem napędzanym. Dobrano odpowiednią falkę w celu wydobycia istotnych informacji o analizowanym sygnale.

This paper presents a comparison of time-frequency transformations applied to analysis of selected signals from drive with elastic connection. Discusses some of time-frequency transformation. Speed signal was selected for analysis. Selects the appropriate wavelet in order to extract relevant information about the analysed signal.

The research areas of extraction and integration of web data aim at delivery of tools and methods to extract pieces of information from third-party web sites and then to integrate them into profiled, domain-specific, custom web pages. Existing solutions rely on specialized APIs or XPath querying tools and are therefore not easily accessible to non technical end users. In this paper we describe our new comprehensive, non-XPath integration platform which allows end users to extract web page fragments using a simple query-by-example approach and then to combine these fragments into custom, integrated web pages. We focus on our two novel similarity-based web clip matching algorithms: Attribute Weights Tree Matching and Edit Distance Tree Matching.

Presentation of selected structures of remote laboratory. The presented structure enables remote control through the Internet and the acquisition of measurement data. The measurement data are presented using a web interface. The final result is microcontroller measuring and control system with web server. System flexibility and ease of access to its resources allow parallel planning an experiment to multiple users simultaneously.
