W artykule przedstawiono opis metodologii Federalnej Agencji Zarządzania Kryzysowego, która pozwala szczegółowo ocenić każde zagrożenie osobno, w sposób numeryczny. W metodologii FEMA wykorzystuje się cztery kryteria: historię zdarzenia, podatność, prawdopodobieństwo oraz maksymalne zagrożenie. Określono cel i metodę badań oraz dokonano szacunkowej analizy ryzyka wystąpienia zagrożeń w powiecie częstochowskim na podstawie metodologii FEMA. Przeprowadzone badanie pozwoliło zwrócić uwagę na zalety i wady metodologii FEMA.

The article presents a description of the methodology of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which allows for a detailed assessment of each threat separately, in a numerical manner.The FEMA methodology uses four criteria: history of the event, vulnerability, probability and maximum threat. The aim and method of research was determined and the risk analysis of threats in Częstochowa County was estimated on the basis of FEMA methodology. The conducted research allowed to draw attention to the advantages and disadvantages of the FEMA methodology.

Urban green areas are an important element of urban public spaces. They enable users to be in touch with nature, relax and provide a space for active recreation. Dry valleys and ravines are the place where the best design solution – in order to preserve the natural character of vegetation and terrain, and meet the recreational and leisure needs of residents – is to create a park or to introduce individual walking paths. The paper presents a conceptual design for the development of the St. John Paul II Park together with the program of educational path concerning the figure of the Polish Pope.
