A high-pressure device for gaseous hydrogen was used for loading Pd1-xNix al loys (0.1 < x < 0.75) with hydrogen. The resulted hydrogen contents were close to stoichiometric composition H/(Pd+Ni) = 1. Lower hydrogen contents have been obtained by successive partial desorptions. The thermoelectric power and electrical resistance have been measured simultaneously in the temperature range between 80 and 300 K. In some cases a Nordheim-Gorter type correlation of the two quantities has been observed and partial thermopowers corresponding to electron-phonon scattering and lattice disorder could be determined.
