In this paper a techique allowing the use od Dynamic Programming in the large-dimensional cases of systems is presented. Classic Dynamic Programming usually collapses with large scale systems due to the enormous computational cost of system simulation. Active Dynamic Programming makes use of additional structural information we have in many cases. The optimized system often consists of autonomous and interconnected subsystems, what allows us to conduct a corrected version of the simulation algorithm avoiding the repeated computation of already obtained data.
