Laboratory and industrial studies have established the total impact of environmentally hazardous substances, taking into account the distance from the source of emissions and the specific consumption of explosives. With the help of physicochemical analysis and biological testing, the dependence of the change in the conditional indicator of damage to bioindicators with an increase in the distance from the source of emission and the specific annual consumption of explosives was revealed. A methodology for calculating the environmental assessment of the state of atmospheric air around the mine ventilation shaft has been developed. The exponential dependence of the influence of surface concentrations of environmentally hazardous substances on the damage of bioindicators at the cellular and organismic levels has been established, which makes it possible to assess the state of atmospheric air at industrial sites of iron ore mines. The proposed technology of sand drilling, which involves the use of emulsion explosives in mining ore deposits in chamber development systems will reduce emissions of environmentally hazardous substances into the atmosphere and increase the level of environmental safety of iron ore mines.

The calculation of economic efficiency during the preparatory mine operations using various mining equipment and types of explosives was performed. The general exponential regularity of determining the cost of carrying out 1 m3 of working depending on the strength of rocks to compression when using different types of explosives and tunneling equipment was established. An environmental assessment of the use of emulsion explosives in an iron ore mine showed a decrease in concentrations of environmentally hazardous substances and a decrease in environmental hazard coefficients, which resulted in a decrease in the pollution of the atmospheric air.

The results of research on the activation of the microflora by using post-harvest green manure crops were presented. As a result of the conducted studies, the positive effect of sidereal crops of Raphanus sativum and Phacelia tanacetifolia on activity increase of microflora in black soil with little humus was revealed. Application of post-harvest siderates increased the number of non-sporous species of bacteria and actinomycetales, contributed to improvement of soil environment under the influence of siderates, which had a positive effect on creating more comfortable conditions for growing potatoes. The usage of green fertilizers had a positive influence on microbiology activity of soil.

The article presents the results of research on the use of RAPD (Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA) molecular primers, linked to the sign of fiber content in the stems of flax. The main purpose of the research is to identify genetic polymorphism based on the fiber content, inter- and intraspecific genetic relationships between domestic and foreign flax varieties and hybrids. Realization of this aim will allow the number of tasks: 1) to increase the possibilities for successfully identify flax varieties and hybrids, 2) group the breeding material according to its genetic affinity, which will optimize the selection of pairs for crossing, 3) it is better to integrate traditional breeding methods (hybridization, selection, mutagenesis) with molecular biology methods for creation flax varieties with specified parameters of valuable economic traits and, as a consequence, to make selection most successful. 24 varieties and hybrids of flax were investigated using the method of polymerase chain reaction and separation of DNA fragments by gel electrophoresis. A small number of loci on electrophoregrams were detected, which indicates a small affinity of the selection material, which was also confirmed by the use of cluster analysis.

The results of researches of the perspective direction of solving the problem of growth of hardness of typical chernozem, which consisted in enrichment of the soil with fresh organic matter of postharvest greens, are presented. During the years of our research it was found that growing of post-harvest siderates contributed to a significant reduction in hardness of 0-30 cm soil layer. Among the studied siderates the lowest hardness of 0-30 cm soil layer was under crops of Raphanus sativum in all years of research - 10.9-16.8 kg/cm2. In the variants of potato growing without fertilizers was found close reverse relation between hardness and productive moisture reserves - r = -0.74. These dependences confirm positive effect of siderate Raphanus sativum as a factor of biological loosening of soil. After all, it was just the variant where reduction of productive moisture reserves had the smallest share of impact - 22% on the growth of soil hardness. At the same time, this share of influence increased to 27-41% on the background of other siderates and manure, and up to 54% in the control without application of organic fertilizers. The highest yield of potato tubers was obtained on the plots with the lowest soil hardness, where Raphanus sativum was used as a post-harvest siderate, followed by the variants with manure, Phacelia tanacetifolia and Fagopyrum esculentum.
