The aim of the paper is to present the numerical analysis of log periodic antennas. The Method of Moments was employed for the electromagnetic field calculations. We computed the log periodic antenna characteristics, impedance and standing wave ratio (SWR) for selected frequencies. A good agreement has been achieved.

The aim of this study is to perform calculations of wave propagation in the city of Opole. The numerical model defined by the ITU-R is used. The results are verified by measurement and calculation in a modern measurement car. Tests were carried out for one radio frequency 102MHz in several checkpoints. A good agreement with the results of numerical measurement results was obtained.
