The pacing for permanent pacing in bradyarrhytmias can influence ventricular activation and can contribute to marked asynchrony in extremity. In this work, we search the optimal position for right ventricular pacing according the QRS duration. We evaluate the system for detection of QRS boundaries based on wavelet transform and adaptive threshold. The system is used during pacemaker implantations in Department of Cardiology, Heart Center, Hospital Podlesí Třinec.

Content available remote Measurement and analysis EMC parameters of implantable pacemaker

This paper deals with problematic of Electromagnetic Compatibility of Implantable Pacemaker. The ambient electromagnetic field can negatively influence the pacemaker functionality and also the wireless communication between its programmer and device. Electromagnetic compatibility parameters are tested by direct induction of interference signal to the inputs of cardiac pacemaker according to technical specification. The experimental tests were also made by generating of interference radio frequency signals to disturb the wireless telemetry communication.

Przeanalizowano problem kompatybilności elektromagnetycznej przy pracy stymulatora serca. Zewnętrzne pole elektromagnetyczne może negatywnie wpływać na pracę stymulatora i na komunikację bezprzewodową z programatorem. Przeprowadzono eksperymenty z bezpośrednim zakłóceniem pracy zewnętrzną falą elektromagnetyczną.

The aim of the work was measurement and testing of implantable cardioverter - defibrillator (ICDs) device. There was realised electronic measuring circuit which substitutes human body tissue during the device accuracy testing. This circuit enables to measure defibrillation shock discharge in the whole energy range (0.1- 41J). The presented measuring and testing procedures can easy check-up precision of parameters and functionality of embedded electronic device circuit’s part of the ICDs. Presented suggestion and results of this work can be implemented as verification procedure in various types of ICDs and also pacemakers before their implantation as well.

Celem pracy było zbadanie właściwości elektrycznych rozrusznika serca. Zaproponowano procedure testowania tego typu urzadzeń.

The aim of this study is the processing and evaluating of plethysmographical records giving important information about the blood vessel function. Result of this study is to present the methodology for classifying the records by means of mathematical methods that would contribute to systematic evaluation of what has been found by finger plethysmography. Thereafter the experimental expert system based on framework systems serves to determine the diagnosis on the basis of previous mathematical processing is introduced. The goal of the project was also creation of application by the form of the extension of kernel for the use of framework that is determined for support of control and information systems development in the area of signal processing, elaborate and describe the methodology of extension hereof setting in the nature of specific applications. Beyond above-mentioned outputs the solution of the project should give the specific knowledge about the usage effectiveness of evolutional frameworks. Fundamental implementation idea is based on the usage of MATLAB as the basis for extension of common kernel.
