Przedstawiono rolę spółki DBT (Deutsche Bergbau Technik - Niemiecka Technika Górnicza) w rozwoju ścianowego systemu podziemnej eksploatacji węgla na całym świecie. Opisano kierunki rozwoju maszyn i urządzeń górniczych wchodzących w skład ścianowych kompleksów zmechanizowanych: obudów hydraulicznych, systemów ich automatyzacji i sterowania elektrohydraulicznego oraz przenośników ścianowych i ich napędów. Podano przykłady zastosowania kompleksów ścianowych wyposażonych w maszyny i urządzenia produkcji DBT w kilku krajach świata oraz podano uzyskiwane wyniki produkcyjne.

The role of the DBT Company (Deutsche Bergbau Technik - German Mining Technology ) in the underground longwall coal mining system all over the world has been presented. Development trends of mining systems: hydraulic supports, systems of their automation and electro-hydraulic control as well as face conveyors and their drives, have been described. Some examples of application of longwall mining systems, equipped with the machines and equipment manufactured by the DBT, and the production results have been given in the case of the installations implemented in a few countries.

In the 10 analysed companies it is necessary to create a management for flexible processes and a structured flexibilisation of these processes. This represents the basis for the retention of existing flexibility and occupational safety. The strategy for a management of flexible processes leads, • firstly, to a structuring of company procedures whilst still retaining the necessary flexibility and certification ability as laid down by standards No. DIN EN ISO 9000ff. and, • secondly, to the keeping of the demands of an occupational safety management system. In this article the inclusion of co-workers stands in the foreground. This will be combined with the goal to utilise their experience and their acceptance of the solutions worked out.
