In this work, the influence of preliminary vibration stress on the stabilisation of structure and properties of the surface layer of steel compounds with electric-spark coatings is presented.
To design an adequate model of plain hydrodynamic journal bearings, particularly dynamically loaded bearings, it is necessary to consider among others, the angular shaft displacements. The angular position of the shaft is resulted in two or more domains of the hydrodynamic pressure distribution. A numerical method to obtain hydrodynamic characteristics is suggested, described and applied to find the components of the load carrying capacity and the moments considering the shaft angular displacements. The results were compared with known data and were discussed.
