W artykule omówiono zagadnienie wpływu termomodernizacji odbiorów ciepła na funkcjonowanie sieci ciepłowniczej, w szczególności pod kątem zmian strat ciepła. Wykazano, że przeprowadzenie termomodernizacji bez obniżenia temperatury w instalacji nie wpływa znacząco na obniżenie strat ciepła w sieci ciepłowniczej. Ze względu na spadek sprzedaży ciepła związany z termomodernizacją występuje natomiast wzrost procentowych strat ciepła oraz kosztów eksploatacyjnych sieci, prowadzący do zwiększenia jednostkowej ceny ciepła.

The article discusses the issue related to the impact of thermal modernization of consumer’s buildings on the operation of the district heating network, especially for changes of heat loss. It has been shown that the implementation of thermo-modernization without lowering the temperature on space heating installation do not significantly effect on the reduction of heat loss in the district heating network. Due to the heat sales decline associated with the thermo-modernization of consumer’s buildings there is an increase of percentage heat losses and increase of the operating costs of the network leading to an increase in the unit heat price.
