Results of microscopic examinations and corrosion test of the bioalloy Ti6Al4V after laser treatment have been presented. The Ti6Al4V alloy was subjected to melting TRUMPF TLF 6000 turbo continuous duty laser. In the time of melting the specimens have been exposed to air, water and liquid nitrogen. The corrosion tests have been performed in Ringer's solution at 37+-1° C temperature. Effects of the parameters of laser treatment on corrosion characteristics have been observed by mi-croscopic examinations as significant changes in thickness, microstructure and microhardness of the remelted surface layer in the Ti-6Al-4V alloy.
