In the article the mathematical model of the extrapolation error is proposed and investigated. The sensor construction error, measurement error and approximation error are the components of the extrapolation error. The results of the analytical and statistical investigation of the extrapolation error characteristics are shown. The requirements of the precision of the sensor element's construction making and of the measurement accuracy are determined.

W artykule został zaproponowany model błędu ekstrapolacji temperatury, którego składowymi są: niedokładność konstrukcji czujnika, niedokładność pomiaru sygnałów wyjściowych elementów termoczułych oraz błąd aproksymacji. Przedstawiono wyniki analitycznej oraz statystycznej oceny charakterystyk błędu ekstrapolacji, na podstawie których zostały sformułowane wymagania dotyczące konstrukcji czujnika oraz dokładności pomiarów.
