The paper presents a novel approach to assess the contributions of separate generators in loads, flows and losses. The proposed algorithm is based on physical models of the power system components and thus all calculations are physically sound. The mutual effects of the active and reactive power on the losses are accounted directly since the apparent complex powers as well complex contribution coefficients are being considered in the approach. The numerical example has demonstrated the effectiveness and accuracy of the method.
