Ogromną szansą utrzymania się przewoźników na rynku europejskim są nowoczesne systemy telematyczne i informatyczne. Wykorzystanie inteligentnych systemów transportowych, w każdym aspekcie niesie za sobą pozytywne skutki. Od poprawy przepustowości dróg miejskich poprzez poprawę bezpieczeństwa na drogach (np. zapobieganie kolizji) poprzez redukcję emisji dwutlenku węgla do środowiska naturalnego, aż do zwiększenia wykrywania przestępstw drogowych. Celem podjęcia tematu jest ocena i analiza systemów działających w Polsce oraz przedstawienie problemów związanych z ich wdrażaniem.

The modern telematics and IT systems are a great opportunity for carriers to survive on the European market. The use of intelligent transport systems, in every aspect entails positive effects. From improving the capacity of urban roads, by improving road safety (e.g. preventing collision traffic), by reducing carbon dioxide emissions to the environment, till on increasing the detection of road traffic offenses The aim of this topic is to assess and analyse the systems operating in Poland and to present issues related to their implementation.

Theoretical basis of the paper is to define the concept of outsourcing as well as benefits and risks associated with its implementation. Article specifies what means outsourcing in the field of logistics and presents division of logistics services which are sent to external companies. Current state and prospects of development of outsourcing in Poland is discussed as well. Parametric and nonparametric thesis of significance for differences in sale’s changes in the logistics industry for 50 and 500, top enterprises were used in order to verify the aim. An analysis of the dynamics of changes in sales in the logistics industry for logistics, freight forwarding as well as transport companies was carried on the basis of the average rate of changes over the period 2006-2016.

Do badania wykorzystano prężnie działające przedsiębiorstwo świadczące usługi w zakresie TSL (Transport Spedycja Logistyka) na rynku polskim jak i międzynarodowym.

The article discussed the current market situation transport sector in Poland, and also set the current position of the companies providing services within the TSL market. In addition, also it presented the changes that have been made within the transport and infrastructure after the Polish accession to the European Union. The main purpose was to discuss ways to manage logistics processes in transport enterprises on the example of the enterprise in the transport sector. The study used thriving company providing services in the field of TSL (Transport Forwarding Logistics) on the Polish market and internationally.

Paper discussed the strategy of the sustainable transport in the capital city of Warsaw. Particular attention was paid to determining effective tools and solutions being supposed to raise the level of the effectiveness of the transport in the analysed city. The article includes the present policy of transport and signs of modern solutions already applied in other urbanized areas. Due to the specificity and economic conditions of Warsaw author proposes cheap and not-requiring solutions.

W obecnych czasach gospodarka odpadami, zwłaszcza odpadami komunalnymi, staje się coraz ważniejsza. Ze względu na to, że odpady stanowią coraz większy problem, zarówno pod względem ekonomicznym, jak i środowiskowym ich liczba rośnie z każdym rokiem, ważne jest więc podjęcie działań w celu poprawnego postępowania z odpadami. Nieużytkowane odpady są kierowane na składowiska odpadów i mają negatywny wpływ nie tylko na środowisko ekologiczne, ale także środowisko społeczne - składowiska mogą mieć znaczący wpływ również na warunki życia społecznego. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie procesów gospodarowania odpadami komunalnymi zgodnie z zasadami zrównoważonego rozwoju ekonomicznego i ochrony środowiska. Opisano procesy zachodzące w czasie gospodarowania odpadów komunalnych w oparciu o działalność wybranego przedsiębiorstwa. Wzrost świadomości ekologicznej, recyklingu, pozyskiwania surowców wtórnych wpływa na racjonalne gospodarowanie odpadami komunalnymi. Aby móc odpady poddać recyklingowi należy zebrać je oraz przetransportować do zakładów utylizacji, sortowni lub bezpośrednio na wysypiska odpadów.

The processes involved in the management of municipal waste are described on the basis of the selected activity enterprise. Increasing environmental awareness, recycling, and recycling of raw materials will affect the rational management of municipal waste. In order to be able to recycle waste, it is necessary to collect and transport it to disposal plants, sorting centres or directly to landfill sites.

The basic plane activity is the transport of courier shipments containing items that should arrive safely and in a short time. The aim of the study is to analyze the effectiveness and quality of deliveries in the company X. The company uses the service Predict as an innovative way to manage the delivery courier.

The dynamic development of road transport has caused an imbalance in transport systems. For the balance of the transport system, an increasingly important role should be played by networks such as railways and inland waterways, which, due to ecological aspects and minimal participation in the generation of external costs, are the most socially friendly. The layout and length of inland waterways in Poland has remained at a similar level for years. The specificity of the waterway infrastructure influences the factors that shape the demand for transportation by inland waterways. The navigation conditions impact directly the main design parameters of the ships used for transportation on inland waterways, including the relatively small carrying capacity of the barges, as well as the volume of traffic. An inadequate development of navigable waterways in Poland, concerning both natural elements (channeled rivers, free-flowing channels) and shipping parameters (discharge dimensions, depth and width of the trail, height of bridges), affects the specificity of inland navigation and relegates it to a marginal role in the Polish transport system. The share of inland waterway transport for total freight decreased from 0.8% to 0.4% between the years 2000 and 2014. The aim of this article is to draw attention to the fact that inland shipping services, in the transport market, are sufficient to determine the existence of waterways. All other factors only stimulate or restrict its place in the transport system. The preferential use of natural waterways is the essential limitation which restricts their adaptation to the changing transport needs. Thus, the density of waterways is much lower compared to other transport networks and the development of potential inland waterway transport is primarily determined by the quality and spatial arrangement of the existing waterways.

Celem artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie trzech centrów dystrybucji na terenie województwa łódzkiego: Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź w Łodzi, Logistic City-Piotrków Distribution Center w Piotrkowie Trybunalskim oraz SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków w Strykowie oraz analiza potencjału jaki mają centra zlokalizowane na obszarze tego województwa.

Then, discussed it was the place that occupies the center of logistics and the role it plays in the context of supply chain operations. In addition, it contains information about the operating concept of logistic centers in the supply chain. The aim of this article is to characterize the three distribution centers in the province of Lodz: Panattoni Park Business Center Lodz in Lodz, Piotrkow City- Logistic Distribution Center in Piotrkow and SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków Stryków and analysis of the potential that they have centers located in the area of the province.

Elastyczne przystosowanie się do wymogów klienta korzystnie wpływa na budowanie wzajemnych relacji. Operatorzy logistyczni zmuszeni są do zwiększania portfela swoich usług, co uwarunkowane jest koniecznością szybkiego dostosowywania się do wymagań oraz zmian warunków współpracy z klientami. W dłuższej perspektywie wyraźnie nabierze tempa proces outsourcingu usług logistycznych. Firmy będą szukać operatorów logistycznych, mających rozwiązania niezbędne do zarządzania całym przepływem towarów w łańcuchu dostaw, biorąc odpowiedzialność za jakość i terminowość wykonania usług. Skłania to cały szereg firm logistycznych do wprowadzania zmian systemowych, mających na celu lepsze dopasowanie się do zmieniających się potrzeb klientów. Celem niniejszej pracy jest próba oceny rynku usług logistycznych w Polsce, ocena funkcjonowania oraz perspektywy rozwoju rynku, na którym zauważalny jest popyt z roku na rok.

One of the key elements of success in the logistics market is the flexibility regarding supply chain management, changes in line with the growing demands of customers. Flexible adaptation to the customer's requirements is beneficial to build relationships. Logistics operators are forced to increase their portfolio of services, which is conditioned by the necessity to quickly adapt to the requirements of and changes in the terms of cooperation with customers. In the long term, clearly gather pace process outsourcing logistics services. Companies will look for logistics operators, with solutions necessary to manage the entire flow of goods in the supply chain, taking responsibility for the quality and timeliness of service performance. Prospects for development will have a company offering innovative solutions and build long-term strategy of cooperation with its customers. This leads to a whole range of logistics companies to make changes to the system, in order to better fit the changing needs of customers.

W artykule zostały przedstawione inwestycje przeprowadzone przez PKP Cargo S.A., przeprowadzono analizę finansową, opisano tabor oraz przedstawiono wizję rozwoju. Priorytety dla polskiego systemu transportowego w tym przewozów kolejowych dość szczegółowo określone zostały w dokumencie „Polityka Transportowa Państwa na lata 2006-2025”, który zakładał radykalną poprawę stanu infrastruktury przy jednoczesnym ograniczaniu kosztów dostępu oraz dynamiczny rozwój systemów intermodalnych poprzez uściślenie form pomocy oraz wprowadzenie zachęt prawnych i podatkowych. Rozwój systemu transportowego, z wykorzystaniem proekologicznych form takich jak kolej, jest warunkiem dynamicznego wzrostu gospodarczego zarówno całego kraju, jak i poszczególnych regionów Polski. Niezwykle ważną rolą staje się ingerencja państwa w rozwój transportu kolejowego, a zwłaszcza intermodalnego.

Priorities for the Polish transport system including rail transport in some detail set forth in the document "Transport Policy for 2006-2025", which assumed a radical improvement of the infrastructure while reducing the cost of access and dynamic development of intermodal systems by specifying the forms of assistance and incentives legal and tax. The development of the transport system, with the use of environmentally friendly forms such as rail, is a prerequisite for dynamic growth both across the country and various Polish regions. An extremely important role is the interference of the state in the development of rail transport, particularly intermodal. The article discusses the investments made by PKP Cargo, and a vision of development.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie jak rozwijał się transport lotniczy w Polsce na przykładzie Międzynarodowego Portu Lotniczego Katowice - Pyrzowice w latach 2003 – 2014. Na podstawie analizy przedstawionych w niej badań statystycznych zostały wskazane zależności między dynamicznym wzrostem popytu na usługi transportu lotniczego, a zmianami infrastrukturalnymi przeprowadzonymi w porcie lotniczym oraz ich wpływem na znaczenie portu na polskim rynku lotniczym. W artykule zostały również wykazane zależności pomiędzy pojawieniem się w porcie przewoźników niskokosztowych, rozwojem siatki połączeń, a zmianami wielkości przewozów realizowanych przez port i czynnikami wpływającymi na jego rozwój.

The aim of the paper is to show how it has developed air transport in Poland on the example of Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport in the years 2003 - 2014. Based on the analysis presented in the statistical surveys indicated the relationship between the dynamic growth in demand for air transport services and infrastructure changes carried out in airport and their influence on the importance of the port on the Polish aviation market . The article also demonstrated the relationship between the emergence of low-cost carriers in the port, the development of grid connections and changes in the volume of traffic carried by the port and factors influencing its development.

Product Recovery Management (PRM) includes management of use and worn out products, components and materials. The aim of recovery management product is retrieval the economic and ecological value and it is leads to reduction of the final waste. Note, that traditional approach many Producers is very shallow. Producers for many years din not pay attention on re-use of many products. Products have been designed in such way, that assembly and distribution were limited to a minimum. First of all concerns were triggered by fear of additional charges for “green product”.

Przedmiotem niniejszego artykułu są ekologistyka, branża motoryzacyjna, zrównoważony rozwój. Natomiast jego celem głównym jest weryfikacja problematyki uwarunkowań ekologistyki ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem branży motoryzacyjnej w świetle zrównoważonego rozwoju w zakresie próby syntezy. Na potrzeby przeprowadzonej analizy źródłowej skoncentrowano się na takich zagadnieniach jak problematyka ekologistyki, kwestia branży motoryzacyjnej w Polsce, jak również identyfikacja determinantów efektywności zarządzania ekologistycznego (logistycznego) w branży motoryzacyjnej z uwzględnieniem zrównoważonego rozwoju.

The subject of this article is eco-logistics, the automotive industry, sustainable development. Its main aim is to verify the eco-logistics issues with a particular focus on the automotive industry in the light of sustainable development in terms of attempts to synthesize. For the purpose of this study was a thesis with the following content: "It is assumed that the main determinants of eco-logistics in the automotive industry in the light of sustainable development are: waste minimization, re-use of parts and components, the use of recyclable materials, energy recovery from the combustible fraction of processed waste and rational management of residual waste." It should be noted that the automotive industry in particular is associated with the demand for eco-logistics solutions and embedding sustainable development policy. So in the following study authors attempted to determine the eco-logistics conditions with particular emphasis on the automotive industry in the light of sustainable development.

Na potrzeby przeprowadzonej analizy źródłowej skoncentrowano się na takich zagadnieniach jak problematyka ekologistyki, kwestia branży motoryzacyjnej w Polsce, jak również identyfikacja determinantów efektywności zarządzania ekologistycznego (logistycznego) w branży motoryzacyjnej z uwzględnieniem zrównoważonego rozwoju.

The subject of this article is eco-logistics, the automotive industry, sustainable development. Its main aim is to verify the eco-logistics issues with a particular focus on the automotive industry in the light of sustainable development in terms of attempts to synthesize. For the purpose of this study was a thesis with the following content: "It is assumed that the main determinants of eco-logistics in the automotive industry in the light of sustainable development are: waste minimization, re-use of parts and components, the use of recyclable materials, energy recovery from the combustible fraction of processed waste and rational management of residual waste." It should be noted that the automotive industry in particular is associated with the demand for eco-logistics solutions and embedding sustainable development policy. So in the following study authors attempted to determine the eco-logistics conditions with particular emphasis on the automotive industry in the light of sustainable development.

Professional logistic support area of e-commerce is concerned mostly with the adaptation of the infrastructure available to meet the needs of this branch of trade. Logistics operators must consistently and successfully invest in the training of its own staff, to enable them to carry out difficult projects that ensure the long-term cooperation with the clients. On the development of human resources have an impact first and foremost the growing requirements of the clients. This is mainly due to the enormous competition in the market for logistics services. E-commerce industry is rapidly growing industry also on the Polish market and, therefore, waiting for us a lot of changes on the logistics market.

Transport intermodalny ma wiele zalet. Przede wszystkim odciąża zatłoczone drogi, obniża koszty oraz jest mniej wrażliwy na warunki pogodowe. A jednak istnieje wiele barier, które ograniczają jego rozwój. Transport intermodalny był dotychczas jedną z najbardziej popieranych form transportu w programach polityki transportowej UE i w narodowych koncepcjach tej polityki. Efekty tego poparcia są wciąż niewielkie. Do 2030 r. oczekuje się poprawy pozycji konkurencyjnej transportu intermodalnego na rynkach dzięki dojrzałym innowacjom oraz postępowi technicznemu i organizacyjnemu. W artykule przedstawiono szanse i bariery rozwoju transportu intermodalnego w Polsce oraz przytoczono przykłady wykorzystania tego rodzaju transportu w innych krajach Europy.

Outsourcing logistics is an important factor in creating a competitive advantage that companies want to achieve by passing part of the competence of logistics operators, or a specialized player in the market. The logistics operator is an external entity, who takes over the role of the cell responsible for the efficient and rapid organization of the supply of components to produce a specific good, the future of distribution and after-sales service to ensure it.
