When preparing the land at slopes and at the limit of the fields, on may often observe different size of land up casts defined by the geodetic measurement instructions as artificial scarps. In the work were reported the results of field investigations on the changes of the height of these scarps originating as a consequence of human agncultural actwity on field susceptible to erosion phenomenon.

W 1999 roku w Katedrze Geodezji zastała opracowana mapa numeryczna Ogrodu Dendrologicznego Akademii Rolniczej w Poznaniu. Ze względu na brak aktualnych opracowań kartograficznych zastosowano metodę pomiaru bezpośredniego. Do pomiaru bezpośredniego zastosowano tachimetr elektroniczny ELTA 50 wyposażony dodatkowo w rejestr polowy WORKABOUT. Mapę opracowano przy pomocy programu C-GEO v. 4.0 dla Windows firmy SOFTLINE Wrocław. Wykonana mapa stanowi zasadnicze źródło informacji o ilości i rozmieszczeniu gatunków roślin występujących na terenie Ogrodu. Jest ona również numerycznym przewodnikiem po Ogrodzie.

In 1999 a numerical map of Agricultural University in Poznań Dendrological Garden has been prepared in the Geodesy Department. Lacking some actual cartographic compilations a method of direct measurement has been implemented. For the measurements electronic tachimeter ELTA 50 and WORKABOUT recorder have been used. The map has been constructed with SOFTLINE's C-GEO v. 4.0 software for WINDOWS. The map is a fundamental source of information about volume and distribution of vegetation species in the Garden. It also a numerical guide to the Garde.
