The main problem of hydrocarbon development in the Republic of Belarus is accumulation of significant part of remaining recoverable reserves in water cut and low permeability zones of developed deposits. The part of such reserves in the total volume of remaining recoverable reserves at present reaches 64% and grows year by year. In this connection in order to enhance oil production the following practices have been widely introduced in recent years: — recovery of abandoned, idle, monitor wells by side-tracking, — drilling of horizontal and multilateral wells, — drilling of 2-4 laterals out of marginal well stock by coiled tubing for enhanced production and development efficiency, — hydraulic fracturing and acid fracturing in different modifications, — wave stimulation technologies designed for well stimulation and EOR, — water shut-off and reactant stimulation using wide range of reactants both home-produced and foreign, — practices of water-alternated-gas injection using nitrogen, carbon dioxide gas and dry hydrocarbon gas. Main technological approaches, process flow charts, applied reactant compositions and equipment are considered in the given report. Estimation of efficiency of introduced practices is also provided in the paper.
