There were performed experimental tests with some lubrication appliances or rather lubrication sprays offeref to journal surfaces on verification of their effect on tribological parameters of the sliding fit operated in boundary and mixed friction zone. In the contribution are presented results of tests curried out for cylindrical monometalic tin bronze bearing bushes and for cylindrical centered steel bushes with polytetrafluorinetylen lining.

This paper presents the results of tribological behaviour of the oil-immersed plate-type disk brake or clutch with paper or sintered metalceramics lining during friction tests performed with four types of lubricating oils. The tests were executed in a testing plant with an oil-immersed multi-plate disc brake, The brake was composed of rotating plates with lining and stationary steel conterplates. For the grounds of test result comparisons, every test was performed under identical performance conditions of the testing plant. The results of the friction tests showed very good tribological behaviour of the oil-immersed disc with the paper lining not only for brake using, but also especially for oil-immersed multi-plate clutches applications.
