The problems of synthesis and analysis of mathematical models of Spacecraft (SC), Magnetic Levitation (ML), and some Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) systems are considered. The vortex fields affecting the liquid motion in tanks with inner ribs, and eddy currents in magnet-guides, are examined and shown to play an important role for such systems. The models are based on the Galerkin and boundary-layer techniques for large Reynolds numbers, and the numerical RT-algorithm of conformal mapping. Numerical simulation and experimental data are used to study the open loop system responses and transient processes in the closed loop systems. The theoretical and experimental results are in good agreement. 'Two main applied problems are considered: (1) Stability analysis of automatically controlled vehicles; (2) Use of certain MHD effects for the physical simulation of disturbed motion, and for damping of the mechanical oscillations.
