Industry begins to pay increasing attention to the savings resulting from the rational use of electricity. They have an impact on higher and higher electricity prices. This is due mainly to the introduced limits on carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, which significantly affect production costs and increasing from year to year price of coal which is still the principal fuel of Polish power plants. This article presents a comparative analysis of two twin scrubbing station, upgraded stations No. 1 and No. 2 station working under the old arrangements.
