Combination of the Permanent GPS Network Solutions from the Long-period Observations

Since the end of January 1997, Geodetic Observatory Pecny (GOP) in cooperation with Department of Advanced Geodesy of the Czech Technical University in Prague operates as the tenth local analysis center (LAĆ) of the EUREF (EUropean REference Frame) Permanent GPS network. Almost two years analysis center GOP produces the official weekly results in SINEX (Software INdependent Exchange) format to the BKG regional data center in Frankfurt/Main. Combining all the available results into the long-period solution we can study the long-term geodynamics phenomena on European continent (e.g. estimation ofsite movements). Unfortunately, the processing period is still too short to estimate realistic velocities of the permanently processed stations. But it was proved the increasing number of solutions from longer period gives us more realistic results of combinations, especially velocities, which are not expected more than few millimeters per year in Europe. Nevertheless the tests of methods of combination were performed and coordinates versus coordinates and velocities estimation compared.
