Technologia rozszerzonej rzeczywistości (AR – augmented reality), nazywana również rzeczywistością mieszaną, umożliwia nakładanie wirtualnych obrazów komputerowych na widzianą rzeczywistość. W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję wykorzystania innowacyjnych narzędzi rozszerzonej rzeczywistości w przemyśle. Omówiono przykłady zarządzania procesem produkcyjnym oraz monitorowania linii produkcyjnej przy pomocy okularów AR, które pokazują użytkownikowi wszystkie potrzebne informacje przed oczami a sterowanie, tworzenie notatek czy raportów odbywa się za pomocą gestów i mowy.

Augmented reality (AR) technology, also known as mixed reality, allows to enhance the seen reality with additional, virtual objects, displayed right in front of the user’s eyes. The article presents the concept of using Augmented Reality glasses in the production environment. Examples are given, showing how to monitor and manage the production line with the usage of AR glasses, which show the user all the needed info right in front of user’s eyes. System operation, creation of notes or reports is handled by simple gestures or speech. Additionally, the article touches the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which will allow the system in the future to have not only the pre-defined, hard coded instructions, but also the flexibility to give different hints to the user based on a different situation observed. W artykule przedstawiono praktyczne rozwiązania problemu przydziału zleceń transportowych do dostępnych środków transportowych w transporcie drogowym. W tym celu dokonano analizy porównawczej wybranej metody optymalizacyjnej stosowanej w branży TSL z rozwiązaniem własnym. Zaproponowany algorytm do efektywnego przydziału wybranych zleceń transportowych opracowano na podstawie metod heurystycznych. Zaproponowano wykorzystanie algorytmu jako narzędzia wspomagającego pracę spedytorów do pozyskiwania opłacalnych zleceń transportowych z elektronicznych giełd transportowych.

The article presents practical solutions to the problem of allocation of transport orders to available transport means in road transport. For this purpose, a comparative analysis of the selected optimization method used in the TSL industry with the own solution was made. The proposed algorithm for effective allocation of selected transport orders was developed based on heuristic methods. It was proposed to use the algorithm as a tool to support the work of shippers to obtain cost-effective transport orders from electronic transport exchanges.

Augmented reality technology (AR), also known as mixed reality, allows to enhance the seen reality with additional, virtual objects, displayed right in front of the user’s eyes. The article presents the concept of using Augmented Reality glasses, to support the user with pre-defined knowledge and instructions, giving the ability to do the job without almost any idea of what should be done. The operator simply follows the instructions shown in front of the eyes and communicate with the system with simple gesture and voice. Additionally, the article touches the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which will allow the system in the future to have not only the pre-defined, hard coded instructions, but also the flexibility to give different hints to the user based on a different situation observed.

This paper presents the process of designing Research and Development actions for innovative technology of highly efficient manufacturing of Spunlace non-woven fabric with the use of the designed demonstrative technological line. Both the designing of the technological line and the research are response to the market needs of the personal care products manufacturers in Poland and in the world. Clients’ expectations concerning this matter deal with increasing the production volume as well as providing better quality of the products. Due to limited (and fully exploited) production capacities and already-known technical problems in the enterprise where the research has been carried out, the authors designed a concept of innovative controlling of the technological line gradually increasing its efficiency. In order to do so, the authors proposed research based on designing the technological line mathematical model, creating its prototype and testing its operational capacities, saving the data in the database and then the use of this empirical data to the technological line parametrisation depending on the properties and destination of the manufactured products.

The text shows how to use in practice “cabbage patch” methodology to improve process parameters and develop problem solving process.

W artykule zaprezentowano własną koncepcję algorytmu optymalizacyjnego, rozwiązującego zagadnienie transportowe w aspekcie złożoności czasowej. Prezentowany algorytm skraca czas wykonywania obliczeń związanych z przydziałem zleceń transportowych do dostępnych środków transportowych. Proponowane rozwiązanie może być wykorzystywane do szybkiego pozyskiwania wybranych (np. najbardziej zyskownych) zleceń transportowych z giełd transportowych.

The paper presents the results of the optimisation algorithms, used in the solving of transport issues. In the present case, one such representative algorithm was the so-called "Hungarian Method". The algorithms were then compared with one’s own, proposed solution in the optimisation of transport orders, that is, compared with the "Improvement" algorithm, for the available means of transport as a function of search time reduction and the obtainment of feedback.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących wpływu zmian dat odbioru kontenerów na ilość operacji przeładunkowych w intermodalnym węźle kolejowo-drogowym. Zaproponowano algorytm zmniejszenia ilości operacji przeładunkowych, który uwzględnia zwiększenie buforu czasowego pomiędzy składowanym w stos kontenerami.

In the article submitted the results research of relating to the influence of the changes of the dates of the reception of containers on the quantity of trans-shipping operation in the intermodal train-road hub. Proposed the algorithm of the decrease of the quantities of trans-shipping operation, which takes into consideration the increase of time buffer between warehoused in the heap by containers.

W artykule pokazano możliwości zastosowania kluczowych wskaźników efektywności (ang. Key Performance Indicators KPI) do zarządzania procesami logistycznymi w przedsiębiorstwie. Podkreślono znaczenie pomiaru realizacji strategii jako istotnego zagadnienia w ocenie efektywności działalności przedsiębiorstwa. Zaproponowane w artykule rozwiązanie łączy kilka koncepcji takich jak: podejście procesowe, zarządzanie strategiczne, czy zarządzanie wydajnością. Wykorzystanie kluczowych wskaźników efektywności w zarządzaniu procesami logistycznymi ma wiele zalet. Pozwala połączyć poziom strategiczny zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem z poziomem operacyjnym. Umożliwia kontrolę efektywności procesów logistycznych realizowanych w przedsiębiorstwie oraz szybkie i skutecznie wdrażanie często zmieniających się strategii przedsiębiorstwa. Dzięki temu, przedsiębiorstwo może skutecznie dostosowywać się do ciągłych zmian w otoczeniu, zapewniając sobie większą elastyczność i możliwość szybszej reakcji na zmiany i wykorzystywania okazji rynkowych niż konkurencja, co w dzisiejszych czasach jest bardzo istotnym elementem walki konkurencyjnej.

The paper shows the applicability of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for management of logistics processes in the company. An importance of the measurement of strategy realization in an evaluation of the effectiveness of the company functioning is underlined. In the article is proposed a solution which combines several concepts such as: Business Process Management, Strategic Management and Performance Management. The use of the Key Performance Indicators in the management of logistics processes has many advantages. First of all it connects the strategic level of business management with the operational level. It allows a control of the efficiency of logistics processes implemented in the company and the rapid and effective implementation of the frequently changing business strategy. As a result, the company can effectively adapt to constant changes in the environment, ensuring greater flexibility and faster response to changes and also better uses the market opportunities than the competition, which nowadays is a very important element of the competitive struggle.
