Negocjacje wielostronne mają duże znaczenie, gdy przedmioty negocjacji są ze sobą powiązane pewnymi warunkami, np. w handlu wielotowarowym. Wówczas struktura przedmiotów handlu może wymusić negocjacje multilateralne. Przedstawiono przykład ilustrujący taką sytuację. Do implementacji wykorzystano elementy standardu ebXML, język BPEL oraz model M3 (Multi-commodity Market Model). Pokazano także wyniki symulacji procesu negocjacji.

Multilateral negotiations are necessary when subjects of negotiations are related to each other with some constraints, e.g. in multi-commodity market. In such case, a structure of the subjects may enforce multilateral negotiations. An example is described, implemented using some elements of ebXML standard, BPEL language and M3 (Multi-commodity Market Model). Results of simulations of the decision process are presented.

The basis for determining a safe process for thermally processed foods has not changed in over 90 years. Thermal processes are performed under control in most cases but validation of those processes is still a problem for some organizations. Law regulations require commercial sterility of thermally processed products or food safety. Except FDA regulations there are no clear law demands for thermal process validation. ISO standards (for example ISO 22000:2005, pkt. 8.2) require validation of processes and records from validation. Thermal process validation covers heat penetration (HP) tests and heat distribution (HD) tests. Procedures for those tests are published by Institute for Thermal Process Specialists (IFTPS) and they are recognized by most authorities. HD and HP tests shall be done for every product and for every retort by Process Authority. Process Authority shall also determine critical factors which have to be controlled and recorded by Operator during process realization. In addition inoculated pack tests can be done as a biological validation of process which allows evaluating whole food production process. Operator shall have complex knowledge about process and product to produce safe food. HP and HD tests can be done for other thermal process in food processing like smoking, cooking or thawing. Also those tests can be done as a part of sterilization process validation for medical devices (requirement of ISO 13485:2003 standard).

Przedstawiono wyniki nieliniowych obliczeń wytrzymałościowych konstrukcji bezpodporowego żurawia okrętowego, posadowionego na kolumnie, poddanego obciążeniom statycznym. Celem analizy było określenie grubości blach stosowanych na poszycie konstrukcji, dobór i rozmieszczenie usztywnień całej konstrukcji skłądającej się z żurawia (ostojnica wraz z wysięgnikiem) oraz kolumny. Do rozwiązania zagadnienia zastosowano system metody elementów skończonych ABAQUS w wersji 6.2(1). Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na sposób rozwiązania węzłów kontaktowych oraz na sposób modelowania elementów cięgnowych.

Results of static non-linear strength analysis of the unsupported deck crane, subjected to deadweight and working loads, are presented in this paper. The structure under consideration consist of a crane, crane housing, jib, and column. The analysis was performend to estimate the required skin plating thickness and the optimal stiffeners' size as well as to arrenge them appropriately. The problem was solved using the commercial finite element package ABAQUS Standard, ver. 6.2. We focused on the appropriate modelling of the contact constraints and cable elements.

Mindlin plates resting on two-parameter tensionless elastic foundation

The paper presents a finite element model for bending analysis of thick plates resting on two-parameter elastic foundation. The formulation of the problem takes into account the shear deformation of the plate and unilateral contact conditions between the plate and the foundation. The numerical model is based on the eigh-teen-node zero-thickness isoparametric interface element interacting with quadratic Lagrange nine-node Mindlin plate elements. A rectangular plate with free edges resting on a two-parameter elastic tensionless foundation is used to verify the accuracy of the proposed model.

Przedstawiono opis pewnego modelu MES służącego do analizy zginania płyt grubych spoczywających na sprężystym podłożu dwuparametrowym. Przedstawione sformułowanie uwzględnia efekt ścinania płyty oraz warunki kontaktu jednostronnego występującego między płytą a podłożem. Model numeryczny jest oparty na 18-węzłowym izoparametrycznym elemencie skończonym o zerowej grubości. Dla potwierdzenia słuszności zaproponowanego algorytmu wybrano przykład posadowienia swobodnej płyty (bez warunków podparcia) na podłożu w warunkach kontaktu jednostronnego.

A comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the convolution and harmonic approaches to the image evaluation is presented from the student's point of viw. On the basis of simple object it has been shown that in some cases the convolution method gives better insight into the imaging process.
