W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań dotyczących oceny skuteczności działania folii refleksyjnych w systemach ściennych i dachowych, pod względem poprawy ich izolacyjności cieplnej. W przypadku wybranych rozwiązań przegród pionowych (z folią i bez folii), stosując metodę skrzynki grzejnej, wyznaczono współczynniki przejmowania ciepła przez powierzchnie z powłokami refleksyjnymi na podstawie pomiaru temperatury i gęstości strumienia ciepła. Celem badań było określenie efektywności działania folii refleksyjnych w określonych warunkach wymiany ciepła, biorąc pod uwagę charakter dominującego źródła ciepła w pomieszczeniu.

The authors simply refer to the results of research on the evaluation of reflective technologies in walls and roof systems, in terms of improving the thermal insulation of these elements. For selected vertical partition solutions (with foil, without foil) using the heat box method, heat transfer coefficients for surfaces with reflective coatings were determined based on temperature measurements and heat flux density. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of reflective foils under specific heat transfer conditions taking into account the nature of the dominant heat source in the room.

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia docieplania ceglanych ścian zewnętrznych i muru pruskiego od strony wewnętrznej. Zewnętrzne ściany ceglane budynków o charakterze zabytkowym, podobnie jak ściany budynków wzniesione w konstrukcji tzw. muru pruskiego, wymagają zachowania dekoracyjnych walorów fasady. Projektowanie remontu takich przegród wymaga wiedzy z dziedziny budowy takich przegród, ich stanu wilgotnościowego, wpływu stosowanych materiałów i warunków eksploatacji na prognozowane zmiany ilości wody w poszczególnych częściach ściany.

The article presents some of the issues related to the thermal insulation of external brick walls and the Prussian wall from the inside. The external brick walls of historic buildings, like the walls of buildings erected in the so-called technology half-timbered buildings require the decorative qualities of the façade. Designing insulation from the inside of such walls, requires knowledge of the construction of such partitions of their moisture status of the existing part, the impact of thermal insulation material and operating conditions on the projected changes in the amount of water in individual parts of the wall.

W artykule przedstawiona została analiza sposobu połączenia ściany zewnętrznej ze ścianą fundamentową i podłogą na gruncie pod kątem minimalizacji strat ciepła dla wybranych detali architektonicznych połączeń elementów. Analiza uwzględniać będzie ścianę zewnętrzną ocieploną systemem ETICS i ścianę przyziemia wykonaną z betonu komórkowego w trzech wariantach bez ocieplenia, z ociepleniem oraz z pustakiem cokołowym.Uzyskane wyniki otrzymano na podstawie obliczeń w programie numerycznym Therm. Dokonano analizy uzyskanych wyników w aspekcie wartości liniowych współczynników przenikania ciepła oraz temperatur na wewnętrznych powierzchniach przegrody.

The article presents the analysis of the method of connecting the external wall with the foundation wall and the floor on the ground in terms of minimizing heat loss for selected architectural details of element connections. The analysis will take into account the external wall insulated with the use of ETICS system and the basement wall made of cellular concrete in three variants: without insulation, with insulation and with a hollow blocks.The results were obtained on the basis of calculations in the Therm numerical program. The obtained results were analysed in terms of the linear heat transfer coefficients values and temperatures on the internal surfaces of the partition.

Artykuł prezentuje zagadnienia związane z powstawaniem grzybów pleśniowych na powierzchniach materiałów budowlanych. Omawia przyczyny występowania grzybów pleśniowych w budynkach, warunki ich wzrostu (temperatura, wilgotność, podłoże, czas wzrostu, odczyn pH) oraz metody szacowania tempa ich rozwoju.

The article presents issues related to the emergence of moulds on the surface of construction materials. It discusses the causes of emergence of moulds in buildings, the conditions of their growth (temperaturę, humidity, base surface, growth time, pH vale) and the methods of estimation of the speed of their growth.

The paper discusses the conservation state of selected examples of historical objects preserved in the Silesia Province, having a complex structure with the elements of Prussian wall. They can be found mainly in the so-called company towns created in the late 19th century. The work presents the structural and architectural details characteristic for such objects, with the emphasis on different technical condition of the structural and finishing elements. External envelopes were evaluated in terms of their thermal insulation and humidity condition, depending on their structure, type of material and location, using theoretical and calculation methods. Due to historical value of the buildings and special character of the façade, the paper suggests that the material values, thermal conductivity and humidity level of the envelopes should be closely identified to provide a basis for further analyses.
