This thesis describes how weather conditions, the size of building and type of buildings structures influence the buildings heat balance. It also presents to what extent the climate of Poland is diverse and if it has influence on the heat losses in the buildings located in different climate zones. Futhermore, it shows how the building form and the construction of buildings structures in residential objects should be chosen to deliver them energy-saving (function).
