Content available remote Long-period Earth gravity changes at main tectonic units of Poland`s territory

In the period 1996-2001, 41 absolute earth gravity determinations at Jozefoslaw station 6 such determinations at Lamkowko and 6 at Borowiec stations were performed. The analysis of results indicates at the station Jozefoslaw periodic changes of acceleration having one year period and 13.4+-3.0 (lambda)Gal amplitude. At the station Lamkowko and Borowiec such changes were not observed. The analysis of water relations and the results of measurements and calculations using other technologies allow us to formulate hypothesis that observed changes of gravity in Jozefoslaw are an indirect effect of atmospheric variations, namely of the magma displacements in anomalous T-T zone under the influence of atmospheric loading changes of the Earth`s crust.

The Astrogeodetic Observatory at Józefosław is situated on the side od East European Precambrian platform, close to the Teisseyre-tornquist zone. Geodynamic researches carried out at this station-satellite (GPS), gravimetric (tide) and astrogravimatric (plumb linedirection) reveal some disturbances, which can be connected with a near zone of tectonic ditch. An absolute ballistic gravimeter ZZG constructed at the Institute of Geodesy and Geodetic Astronomy enabled the scientists to start the research of the absolute ballistic gravimeter was set up at this observatory. Stationary gravimeter devices are a little improved version of the transportable gravimeter. A symmetric method of observation is used. The height of the observed ballistic trajectory is 20 cm. Up to 3 thousand points of the trajectoty can be observed. Throw-ups are repeated automatically every 20 seconds. One-day sets of observation are made. in years 1996 and 1997 thirteen absolute measurements were carried out at the station. The achieve results show the existance of periodic changes of gravity in a year`s cycle with the amplitude of 20 UGal. Thus the hypothesis of the disturbances connected with the T-T Zone confirmed. The researches are planned to be continued, including also points situated far apart from the T-T Zone.
