The SSE 'Yuzhmorgeoshelf has developed and successfully applies a complex of geophysical methods in practice of oil and gas exploration in shallow water and transition zones. The complex of methods includes 2D seismic survey, multi-wave seismic exploration, high resolution electric prospecting, gravity-magnetic prospecting and space sounding. The efficiency of the methods applied is shown on the examples of the Pri-Azov estuary areas and North-West Caspian shallow water. As a preceding method an electric prospecting in modifications of secondary seismoelectric effect and induced polarization is used.
