The article evaluates durability of punches and cutting tools when cutting of the cut-outs. Durability of punches made of the same material without coating, with the TiCN-MP coating and with the TiN coating is compared. Durability is evaluated by the tolerance of the cut-outs. Border durability, which requires grinding of the tool, is a determined durability, at which the deviation of the tolerance of a cut-out is at the lowest border. By comparing the dependency of change of the holes’ dimensions on the number of strokes in the case of all three types of punches, it can be stated that the durability increased by 10–12 times in the case of the tools with coatings.
In this contribution there have been evaluated properties of four types of sheets made from aluminium alloys. In the case of each of the examined sheets there has been checked its shearing ability via the influence of punch-die clearance change on the quality of blanking edge. Quality of blanking edge is characterized by a ratio of plastic zone height to the total thickness of the sheared material. Formability during the drawing process was measured with earring test. Results are presented by the earring coefficient (unequal height) of the cups.
This paper discusses the causes and the effects of plastic deformation of double reduced sheets under uniaxial and biaxial loading. It focuses on the specific inhomogeneity and localization of plastic deformation, which is analysed in detail. The uniaxial and the hydraulic biaxial tensile tests were used for material testing and the results were compared and evaluated. The final part of the paper deals with the microstructure of material deformations.

The article deals with the analysis of formability of deep-drawing DC06 steel sheets. The aim of the investigations is to verify possibilities of formability of sheet metal with thickness of 0.85 mm. The mechanical parameters of the sheets have been determined in uniaxial tensile and bulge tests. The numerical simulations using AUTOFORM has been carried out for two drawpiece models. Obtained results can be used during the simulation of real forming process.

Artykuł obejmuje tematykę analizy odkształcalności blachy stalowej głęboko tłocznej gatunku DC06. Celem badań była weryfikacja możliwości odkształcania blach o grubości 0,85 mm. Właściwości mechaniczne blach określono w testach jednoosiowego rozciągania oraz wybrzuszania blachy. Symulacje numeryczne w programie AUTOFORM przeprowadzono dla dwóch modeli wytłoczek. Otrzymane wyniki mogą być wykorzystane do symulacji rzeczywistego procesu formowania.
