Defects of building constructions and structures are concomitant of building process. They occur at all kind of building structures, in whole world. Defects origin above all owing to imperfect activity of human being and partly also owing to influence of natural elements. Development of building industry, usage of new building materials, technologies and structural systems, take more intensive advantage of material and structural reserves, cause increaseof possibility and up-rise of defects. If we cannot entirely to exclude them, it is necessary at least to reduce their occurrence to minimum. Formation a database of defects, which regularly occur at building structures, analysis of reasons their recurrence and feedback is suitable way. It is necessary to prevent defects at their sources, to specify technical regulations and standards and to disseminate education inside of building community.
