The aim of the article is to present a model of material flow organisation in a changing production system operating under small batch production conditions. Material flow is an element of the value stream that transforms production inventory into a finished product, creating value for the purchaser. Material flow management aims to ensure the consistency of supply and reliability of the production processes being carried out. Carrying out simulations for various production scenarios will be the basis for developing an effective method of material flow management in small batch production of cutting tools. Material flow simulation makes it possible to uncover selectively disruptive factors in existing production systems in order to systematically improve systems. Implementing material flow simulation in a timely manner allows the right trajectory to be established before manufacturing reality knowledge is available.

Musculoskeletal disorders are the most common work-related health problem in Europe. They affect the health of individual employees and increase the financial and social spending of European companies and countries. From a biomechanical point of view, the spine is the most stressed part of the human body. Back pain is one of the most common diseases of civilization. Excessive loading of this part of the body in the work process can lead to the emergence of serious diseases. The article provides an overview of the course of diseases of the musculoskeletal system in Slovakia. It also describes the available methods for assessing the load on the spine, as the most stressed part of the body, of employees in industrial enterprises.

Information technologies allow for improving production systems functioning especially thanks to a possibility of solving complex production problems in a very short time. The production system designing is increasingly based on virtual reality, and more specifically on the concept of a digital factory. It enables to create virtual models of real objects and use them for visualization of products and manufacturing processes. The presented examples of new information technologies, which are used in production practice, are the main object of this paper.

This paper presents a possibility of applying modelling and simulation in logistic processes management and design in production enterprises. New functionalities of the modelling software, especially those connected with analysing material and information flow, are already necessary for designing and evaluating complex logistic systems. The possibilities of modelling and simulation with the use of the CET Table system are illustrated by practical example.

W artykule przedstawiono wymagania branży motoryzacyjnej według standardu IATF 16949 dotyczące kosztów jakości. Wymaganie obligatoryjne w tym zakresie odnosi się do konieczności identyfikacji, kalkulacji i raportowania wyłącznie kosztów niezgodności – zarówno wewnętrznych, jak i zewnętrznych. Ponadto wymóg systemowy obejmuje konieczność powiązania celów szczegółowych poszczególnych procesów czy działań, zidentyfikowanych w organizacji na bazie podejścia procesowego, z wizją, misją i strategią firmy. Do zobrazowania tej zależności analizowana organizacja wykorzystuje zrównoważoną kartę wyników (BSC). W artykule zaprezentowano również metodykę postępowania w tym zakresie.

In the article, the requirements of IATF 16949 in terms of quality costs in the automotive industry have been presented. The obligatory requirements are the need to identify, calculate and report only costs of poor quality – internal and external. In addition, the requirement is to demonstrate the relationship between the objectives of individual processes or activities identified in the organization with the vision, mission and strategy of the company. To illustrate this relationship, the organization used a balanced scorecard (BSC). The methodology of conduct in this area has also been presented in the article.
