The paper discusses in detail the way of using steel sheet-piles in engineering anti-flood wall structure. According to the authors, the application of sheet piles is among the simplest and most cost-effective methods to ensure stability for anti-flood wall systems, with a number of other benefits. This solution, first of all, ensures leak-proof efficiency of the wall structure, enabling its elevation by even a few meters. The use of this method to add height to the actual walls is also more economic vs. the traditional method of extra soil layers.
