Artykuł koncentruje się na ocenie zrównoważonego środowiska pracy we współczesnych budynkach biurowych. Jest kontynuacją wcześniej podjętych przez autorkę badań nad zrównoważoną architekturą biurową. Zagadnienie to jest jednym z istotnych czynników prośrodowiskowych w miastach. Składają się na to nie tylko same budynki, sposób ich funkcjonowania oraz sposób wykonania, rodzaj użytych materiałów, ale wyposażenie i aranżacja wnętrz. Należy zaznaczyć, że projekt środowiska biurowego powinien odpowiadać na zmieniające się potrzeby pracowników. Po dwóch latach przerywanej pracy zdalnej spowodowanej pandemią COVID-19 zasadne stało się wprowadzanie w budynkach miejsc przeznaczonych do bardzo potrzebnych interakcji pracowników i współpracy społecznej. Celem pracy jest określenie specyficznych cech zrównoważonego środowiska pracy w budynkach biurowych, korzystnych, przyjaznych dla ludzi, takich, które mogą podnosić jakość i standard wykonywania pracy, podnosić wydajność, ale też wpływać na zdrowie i dobre samopoczucie pracowników. Ponadto przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe, które ma na celu określenie potrzeb pracowników biur pod kątem komfortu pracy.

The article focuses on the assessment of a sustainable working environment in contemporary office buildings. It is a continuation of the research undertaken earlier by the author on sustainable office architecture. This issue is one of the important pro-environmental factors in cities. It consists not only of the buildings themselves, the way they function and the way they are made, the type of materials used, but also the equipment and interior design. It should be noted that the design of the office environment should respond to the changing needs of employees. After two years of intermittent remote work caused by Covid 19, it makes sense to introduce spaces in buildings dedicated to much-needed employee interaction and social collaboration. The aim of the work is to determine the specific features of a sustainable working environment in office buildings, beneficial, people-friendly, those that can improve the quality and standard of work, increase productivity, but also affect the health and well-being of employees. In addition, a survey was conducted to determine the needs of office employees in terms of work comfort.

Artykuł koncentruje się na ocenie zielonego środowiska utworzonego i powiązanego z architekturą. Zagadnienie to jest jednym z istotnych czynników prośrodowiskowych. Składają się na to nie tylko zielone dachy lub wertykalne ściany budynków, ale też inne elementy powiązane z zielenią takie jak na przykład wiaty przystanków, ekrany akustyczne itp. Należy zaznaczyć, że tworzenie środowiska zielonego w mieście jest ciągle rozszerzaną i wzbogacaną koncepcją mającą duży potencjał w łagodzeniu efektów zmian klimatycznych. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie i analiza przykładów zielonych rozwiązań budynków oraz innych elementów małej architektury w mieście, a także korzyści środowiskowych w aspekcie zrównoważonego rozwoju. Tworząc zrównoważone, zielone miasta, myślimy o przyszłości. Jednocześnie społeczeństwo coraz bardziej zwraca uwagę na problemy naszej planety. Zielone rozwiązania stają się istotnym elementem i ratunkiem dla odzyskania równowagi w środowisku.

The article focuses on the assessment of the green environment created and associated with architecture. This issue is one of the important pro-environmental factors. Not only does it include green roofs or vertical walls of buildings, but also other elements related to greenery, such as bus or tram shelters, acoustic screens, etc. It should be noted that creating a green environment in the city is a constantly expanded and enriched concept that has great potential in mitigating the effects of changes climate. The aim of the article is to present and analyze examples of green solutions in buildings and other elements of small architecture in the city, as well as environmental benefits in the aspect of sustainable development. When we create sustainable, green cities, we think about the future. At the same time, society is paying more and more attention to the problems of our planet. Green solutions are becoming an important element and rescue for regaining balance in the environment.

An integrated approach to the protection of cultural heritage on the example of Kolumna – a former summer resort near Łódź

In recent years, the growing importance of protecting cultural heritage can be noticed. An integrated approach to the protection of cultural heritage reflects both the society’s attitude to the world of values and the very process of reinterpretation of values. The aim of the article is to present the results of the research conducted by the author on the cultural heritage in Kolumna (Łask district) near Łódź. These results shed new light on a holistic view of the issue of heritage protection in terms of European Union provisions. Empirical research was carried out consisting in direct observation, analysis and self-assessment, as well as archival queries and studies of the latest literature on the subject. Field observations concerned human interference and transformation of the green landscape. As a result of the conducted research, it should be stated that cultural heritage, whose values are not only material cultural goods, but also natural heritage and our memory and identity, is subject to constant evolution. Proper welfare management and the intensification of activities aimed at protecting these values are becoming crucial.

W ostatnich latach można zauważyć rosnące znaczenie ochrony dziedzictwa kulturowego. Zintegrowane podejście do ochrony dziedzictwa kulturowego odzwierciedla zarówno stosunek społeczeństwa do świata wartości, jak i sam proces reinterpretacji wartości. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wyników przeprowadzonych przez autorkę badań dotyczących dziedzictwa kulturowego na terenie Kolumny (dzielnicy Łasku) niedaleko Łodzi. Rzucają one nowe światło na całościowe spojrzenie na zagadnienie ochrony dziedzictwa w aspekcie zapisów unijnych. Przeprowadzono badania empiryczne polegające na bezpośredniej obserwacji, analizie i ocenie własnej oraz kwerendy archiwalne i studia najnowszej literatury przedmiotu. Obserwacje terenowe dotyczyły ingerencji człowieka i przekształceń zielonego krajobrazu. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań należy stwierdzić, że dziedzictwo kulturowe służy współczesnym celom, którymi są nie tylko materialne dobra kultury, ale także naturalne dziedzictwo przyrodnicze oraz nasza pamięć i tożsamość. Właściwe zarządzanie dobrostanem oraz intensyfikacja działań skierowanych na ochronę tych wartości stają się kluczowe.

Przedmiotem badań są zrównoważone budynki biurowe, natomiast celem artykułu jest określenie ich specyficznych cech w kontekście poprawy środowiska i ekologii. Dokonano przeglądu i analizy wybranych realizacji tego typu obiektów z ostatnich lat w Polsce. Ponadto przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe, które miało na celu określenie potrzeb pracowników biur pod kątem komfortu pracy, co ma istotny wpływ na tworzenie przyjaznego środowiska pracy. Budynki biurowe są ważnym elementem pejzażu urbanistycznego miasta. Po roku 2010 nastąpiło upowszechnienie i komercjalizacja systemów ocen oddziaływania budynków na środowisko. Tworzenie przyjaznych, zielonych miejsc pracy ma istotne znaczenie dla społeczeństwa. Zrównoważone budynki w znaczący sposób mogą poprawiać warunki środowiskowe i bytowe.

The subject of the research are sustainable office buildings, while the aim of the work is to determine their specific features in the context of improving the environment and ecology. A review and analysis of selected implementations of this type of facilities in Poland in recent years has been carried out. In addition, a questionnaire survey was conducted to determine the needs of office workers in terms of work comfort, which has a significant impact on creating a friendly work environment. Office buildings are an important element of the city's urban landscape. After 2010, the systems for assessing the environmental impact of buildings were disseminated and commercialized. Creating friendly, green jobs is essential for society. Sustainable buildings can significantly improve environmental and living conditions.
