Some fractal characters of storm sewer system are demonstrated in the paper. The part of such a system composes information of the whole on a certain degree, and there is statistically self-similar. Therefore, fractal is introduced to the research of storm sewer networks, so do the analysis of their fractal character. Choosing an algorithm - Box-counting algorithm and applying it to the study of some storm sewer system in Beijing suburb districts or towns, fractal dimensions of them were drawn out then. Based on fractal study in rivers and in roads, the correlation and restriction between fractal dimensions and runoff modulus are discussed. Penetrate the concealed information beneath fractal dimension; we conclude the optimal layout maybe exist.

Everyday, a plenty of methane gas is produced in anaerobic sludge digester of sewage treatment plant. Digestive methane is combustible gas and has a high combustion value. It can be used to propel electric generator. Hydrogen sulfide(H2S) in the methane has corrosiveness to the devices, which affects effective utilization of energy seriously. Digestive methane desulfurization can avoid the corrosion of electric generator, also can control the emission of sulfur dioxide. The concentration of hydrogen sulfide in digestive methane depends on the composition of sludge. Electric engine has a higher requirement. It requires that hydrogen sulfide content in methane must below 1150mg/m3. Throughing the investigation to digestive methane desulfurization of GaoBeiDian Sewage Treatment Plant, the principles and methods of digestive methane desulfurization are described in this paper. The investigation for the designation of utilizing jet stream regeneration PDS method to proceed digestive methane desulfurization in GaoBeiDian Sewage Treatment Plant is also presented.

Formaldehyde waste gas pollution is one of the important subjects in the environmental protection field. The treatment of formaldehyde with nonthermal plasma is described in this paper. The result of the experiment indicates that a dielectric with high dielectric constant is beneficial for removing formaldehyde when the dielectric is polarized to present micro-corona discharge in the electrostatic field. The effect of electrostatic field strength, gas flow rate and initial concentration on the destruction of formaldehyde are researched for the reactor with or without packed materials. The experimental results indicate that high electrostatic field strengths; low gas flow rate and low initial concentrations of formaldehyde are the factors most suitable for removing formaldehyde. The removal efficiency of the reactor with ferroelectric annulated columns was higher than that without annulated columns.

W artykule wskazano na celowość szybkiego wyszukiwania bocznic przekątnych w praktyce kopalnianej. Jednocześnie przedstawiono spotykane w literaturze metody wyznaczania bocznic przekątnych w kopalnianych sieciach wentylacyjnych. W oparciu o metodę "the deplh first search" opracowano sposób wyznaczania bocznic przekątnych poprzez wyszukiwanie w sieci odpowiednio zdefiniowanych struktur 0. Przedstawiono algorytm opracowanego programu komputerowego umożliwiającego automatyczne wy-znaczanie bocznic przekątnych w numerycznych zapisach kopalnianych sieci wentylacyj-nych. Program komputerowy przystosowany jest do bezpośredniego odczytu danych zapisanych programem edtxt.exe opracowanym przez Pracownię Wentylacji IMG PAN w Krakowie. W formie tabelarycznej przedstawiono wyniki wyznaczania bocznic przekąt-nych w kilku rzeczywistych sieciach wentylacyjnych.

This article presents the necessity of quick search for diagonal branches in real-life mining conditions. Simultaneousły methods for determining diagonal branches in inining yentiiation networks arę presented on the basis of what has aiready been published. On the basis of the method "Ihe depth first search", a method for determining diagonal branches by means of searching in Ihe network for adequa!ely defined structures 0 is presented. The algorithm of a computer programme enabling automatic determinalion of diagonal branches in numerical mining records of ventilation networks is also presented. The computer programme is adjusted to the direct read-out ofdata base put in by programme edlxt.exe designed by IMG PAN in Cracow. The results of determining diagonal branches in a few real-life ventilation networks arę presented in the form of tables.
