In this paper, we propose a new method for merging moving objects onto a panoramic background image. First, we decompose the local intensity variation between the input image and the apnoramic background image into three components (i. e., translation in x and y direction, and the intensity offset caused by the moving objects). Then, we estimate the accurate planar projective parameters by using the weighted least square method to eliminate intensity offset caused by the moving objects. The experimental results show that the proposed method can enable accutrate registration.
