Content available Musculoskeletal disorders at nursing work
EN
Ergonomics in healthcare is still in its infancy. The responsibilities of healthcare personnel include taking care of the health of the whole population. That is why it is very important to care about healthcare personnel. This article is a presentation of a survey conducted in Slovakia. The survey focused on nurses who work directly at their patients’ beds. The objective of the survey was to verify the physical load of nursing profession and to determine the most frequently musculoskeletal disorders of nurses. The survey was conducted in the form of the Nordic Questionnaire. The results of the survey confirmed the most serious difficulties for nurses with the musculoskeletal apparatus. The results also showed pain-related dependence in one body part of a nursing professional depending on his or her profile. However, the analyses included in this article can be applied to any company management, not only nurses.

Musculoskeletal complaints represent a common occupational problem for health care workers throughout the world. This study provides shortened results of review by Nordic Questionnaire, which was modified for review reasons. The aim of the study is verification of work-related load Slovak and Polish nurses in their work and mutual comparison of the results. Comparison of statistical sample of Slovak nurses (468) and Polish nurses (48 for this moment) points to certain common features in the field of pain and the determination of their causes. Verification of the knowledge base of nurses in the field of ergonomics, principles of manipulation of load and kinestetika shows slightly better results for Polish nurses. The study will continue to compare larger statistical samples, identify the most common pains and their causes to the reason prevent them.

The article deals with the human performance and the factors that affect job performance. During the performance of work a person is exposed to risk factors, which to some extent adversely affect his health. It is necessary to note, that currently prevail in the company of two views on the position of man in the process. First, promoted in particular employers, puts emphasis on increasing the performance of workers and productivity growth. The second view is supported by employees and emphasises the need for safety and health at work of man. The aim of ergonomics is currently referred to harmonise these views. Work is an essential and therefore the dominant activity in the life of every person. An employer has to create the optimal workingconditions for an employee to be able to use their performance-related capacity fully. The results which the keeping of the ergonomic rules in an enterprise brings can be divided into the economic ones, important for the employer and the health keeping ones, important for the employee. A man spends an essential part of their life in a work activity which has formed them during the whole evolution. Therefore we cannot overlook work activity and its effect on a person because it has progressive importance in human development and it is the factor of mental and physical functions improvement.

Content available The use of tracking systems for ergonomics analysis
EN
The article deals with the possibility of implementing ergonomics analysis in digital factory with focus on the load analysis of the human musculoskeletal system. The emphasis is on research results in the area of connection of simulation software on the inertial and optical MoCap systems. The importance of these analyses is to estimate as accurately as possible the effects on human health due to the design of work systems at the design stage. This article deals with the theoretical basis, the results of laboratory verification and the results of implementation outputs.

Content available Stereoscopic record in ergonomics
EN
The authors are describing the application of stereoscopic records in the industrial engineering discipline. The main focus is to identify the potential for stereoscopic recordings in the field of industrial engineering. Specifically, it focuses on the evaluation of process operator workload with the ergonomic analysis. In the first part of the article, the authors describe the basic process in making stereoscopic records. In the second part, the authors describe the results of the application of stereoscopic video in the evaluation of operator workload. Stereoscopic video was used as the main source of information in the preparation of analyses. The result of the survey was the description of the potential benefits of stereoscopic video in industrial ergonomics.

W pracy przedstawiono możliwości zastosowania zapisów stereoskopowych w zagadnieniach związanych z inżynierią produkcji. Głównym celem pracy było określenie potencjału stereoskopowych nagrań w ergonomicznym kształtowaniu procesów pracy. W szczególności przeprowadzono ocenę nakładu pracy na stanowisku, na podstawie przeprowadzonych nagrań i realizowanych analiz ergonomicznych. W pierwszej części artykułu opisano podstawowy proces tworzenia stereoskopowych zapisów procesu. W drugiej części autorzy opisali wyniki zastosowania stereoskopowego zapisu wideo w ocenie pracy na stanowisku. Określono stereoskopowe wideo jako jedno z głównych źródeł informacji w opracowywaniu analiz ergonomicznych. Przedstawiono potencjalne korzyści stereoskopowego wideo w ergonomii przemysłowej.

In the last years researches in engineering have moved towards customer-oriented manufacturing. The individual customer’s requirements are very important for the company’s activities. It results in high-variety production. High-variety production like mass customization is facing the challenge of effective variety management. Applying methods of mass customization to the empirical process can improve the efficiency of product development process and reduce time and cost. The manufacturing process requires documentation of the production. Very often, the documentation process and the time of its formation is limited. One possible way to solve this problem is to automatically create documentation in electronic form. Then, without having to print, distribute them directly to the panel of the machine. In the process of creating manufacturing documentation, this method takes into account alternative manufacturing processes and the current availability of labor resources The article is an attempt at the analysis of the modern manufacturing systems and answering the question, how it is possible to produce without having documentation in paper form. The presented solution is used for the high-variety products manufactured in the SMEs. The method was validated in the conditions of best practice high-variety production.

Since the production is aimed at fulfilling specific needs of demanding customers and not at filling warehouses, the production volume should reflect the volume of orders. In times of fight for the client every order has to be performed on time. What is more, in times of fight for shortening the delivery cycle, meeting safe deadlines, that is distant in time, is not enough. Companies are forced to meet short deadlines with keeping the product price competitiveness condition. It is hardly possible without a advanced planning support system. Currently, advanced planning systems are coming into use, however their cost exceeds the possibilities of small and medium enterprises and algorithms used often require great customization to industries’ needs and conditions of unit and small-batch production. Such conditions lead to a need for simplified methods. The methods used so far are not capable of finding the global optimum of such big data ranges. For this reason computer tools for applying to the industrial scale are needed. The above method basis on the data so far collected in ERP system.
