With rapid population increases, people are facing the challenge to maintain healthy conditions. One of the challenges is air pollution. Due to industrial development and vehicle usage air pollution is becoming a high threat to human life. This air pollution forms through various toxic contaminants. This toxic contamination levels increase and cause severe damage to the living things in the environment. To identify the toxic level present in the polluted air various methods were proposed by the authors, But failed to detect the tolerance level of toxic gases. This article discusses the methods to detect toxic gasses and classify the tolerance level of gasses present in polluted air. Various sensors and different algorithms are used for classifying the tolerance level. For this purpose “Artificial Sensing Methodology” (ASM), commonly known as e-nose, is a technique for detecting harmful gases. SO2-D4, NO2-D4, MQ-135, MQ136, MQ-7, and other sensors are used in artificial sensing methods (e-nose). “Carbon monoxide, Sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, and carbon dioxide” are all detected by these sensors. The data collected by sensors is sent to the data register from there it is sent to the Machine learning Training module (ML) and the comparison is done with real-time data and trained data. If the values increase beyond the tolerance level the system will give the alarm and release the oxygen.

In recent scenario, Duplex brass alloy have drawn many attention of researchers due to the properties such as excellent corrosive resistance, machinability, ductile and easy of fabrication. In present work, the alloy is fabricated by stir casting technique and the machinability was studied during Electric Discharge Machining. In this experiment the control parameters such as current, voltage, pulse on time and flushing pressure were considered to study the effect on Surface roughness (Ra). Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to design the experiment using Box - Behnken design (BBD). An attempt has been made to investigate find out the best optimal parameter for the machining the alloy. The response model has been validated with analysis of variance (ANOVA). Peak current was identified as the significant factor affecting the surface roughness during machining.

Due to low price, less maintenance, robustness and reliability, induction motors are used in most of the industrial applications. Nowadays, energy conservation is an important factor for the industries. This paper describes a smart Maximum Efficiency Slip Speed (MESS) energy conservation scheme for three phase squirrel cage induction motor drives, employed in constant speed varying load torque type applications. This paper discusses the advantage of proposed scheme under various set speeds, compared to existing scheme. A complete induction motor drive set up employing MESS scheme is developed and simulated for 5.4 HP, 4 Pole, 400V, 1430Rpm and 50Hz three phase squirrel cage induction motor In Matlab Simulink. The practical verifications is also done in 1 HP, 1400Rpm, 50Hz and 4 Pole three phase squirrel cage induction motor. The results for both simulation and hardware are discussed in this paper.

W artykule przedstawiono metodę sterowania trójfazową klatkową maszyną asynchroniczną w napędach o stałej prędkości i zmiennym obciążeniu, polegającą na regulacji poślizgu dla uzyskania maksymalnej sprawności energetycznej. Przedstawione w badań symulacyjnych i eksperymentalnych potwierdziły skuteczność proponowanej metody.

Content available remote A Modified Energy Conservation Circuit for Chopper fed DC Motor Drive

Some of the Industrial DC motor drives use four quadrant chopper. This letter proposes a new scheme of chopper configuration which leads to energy conservation in DC motor drive. The proposed scheme needs some modifications in the switching device configuration such as combining a MOSFET switch with a relay and this modification leads to energy saving. The simulation results show the superiority of the new method suggested in this letter.

W artykule przedstawiono nową topologię choppera, pozwalającą uzyskać oszczędność energii w napędzie z silnikiem DC. Proponowana zmiana polega dołączeniu przekaźników do obwodów tranzystorów MOSFET. Zaprezentowano wyniki symulacyjne.
