Analytical model of SRM based on electromagnetic field approach

The paper presents a novel analytical model of switched reluctance motor that includes the magnetic saturation effect. The main advantage of elaborated algorithm is that order of matrices used to storage model parameters is reduced to one dimension. These parameters can be obtained from finite element electromagnetic fie!d simulations, as well as from measurements. The result of field (FEM) and circuit simulations is compared to the experimental results.
