Łącząc manipulator z aparatem do rezonansu magnetycznego, dostajemy zautomatyzowane stanowisko, umożliwiające zdalne prowadzenie zabiegu biopsji stercza w czasie rzeczywistym. W pracy podjęto próbę opracowania projektu zrobotyzowanego narzędzia diagnostycznego przeznaczonego do obsługi procedury biopsji gruczołu krokowego.

Currently, medical robotics is the most dynamically developing field of service robotics. This is associated with the growing interest of this field of its potential creators - scientists-engineers and potential users - doctors-operators. Undertaken research and implementation works on new robot solutions that will help streamline various medical processes related to medical diagnostics, surgery and rehabilitation in order to improve the quality, efficiency and working conditions of doctors and increase the comfort of patients. Prostate biopsy is performed to collect diseased soft tissue of this gland for further analysis. Performed in traditional ways is a difficult and long-lasting process and often because of its limited precision does not give the desired effects, moreover, it is often very painful for the patient. Introduction of a robotic tool to this process gives the opportunity to increase the accuracy of and significantly reduce the time of the procedure. By combining the manipulator with the magnetic resonance apparatus, we get an automated position enabling remote manipulation of the prostate biopsy in real time. The paper attempts to develop a project of a robotic diagnostic tool designed to support the prostate biopsy procedure. The trajectory of manipulator movement is planned and implemented using magnetic resonance imaging, while the information about the course of the procedure is processed in real time into information directly available to the treating physician. A medical description of a typical diagnostic procedure for prostate examination and the course of such a procedure with the use of imaging using the magnetic resonance method were quoted. For comparison purposes, examples of existing designs of such robots are also described. On the basis of literature data and analysis of diagnostic procedures, the assumptions of the own medical robot project to support the prostate biopsy procedure were formulated. The Master's thesis was mainly of a constructional nature. A kinematic scheme of the manipulator with five degrees of freedom was developed and its kinematic model was formulated. Taking into account the typical working conditions of the robot, a preliminary design was developed and an analysis of its dynamics model was carried out and strength tests of the highlighted construction elements for use in the robot design were carried out. The operating conditions of the control system and cooperation of the robot with the magnetic resonance apparatus are also taken into account and construction materials have been selected that allow working in an environment with a very high level of magnetic induction. Computer models of kinematics were developed and simulations of basic work procedures were performed. On this basis, the characteristics were prepared for the final evaluation of the project. The work ends with a brief summary and conclusions, plans for the future and prospects for further research on the project have been formulated.
The article presents the methodology involved in creating a risk analysis of medical devices. General regulations contained in the PN-EN ISO 14971 provide manufacturers of medical basis for the concretization of standards in the form of risk assessment system for a particular process and product. However, there is no top-down regulations defining the level of acceptable risk and the decision to determine its value rests with the manufacturer. Effectiveness of taken measures was tested on the example of a analysis of dynamics spine corrector – medical device that is allowing independent rehabilitation under the supervision of a physiotherapist and current control of the kinematics and dynamics of the human spine.

Three concepts of mechanical design of parallel manipulators with 3(TRRR) and 3(TRTR) structures are presented in the paper. Manipulators can be applied as haptic devices with force feedback control in telemanipulation, or as a support mechanisms in new CNC machines, and in the novel solutions of machines for rapid prototyping. Special kinematic system and kinematic parameters of presented solutions cause that kinematic model of the manipulator is linear and is not dependent on the other factors. Manipulator has 3 DOF's and can move the platform with constant orientation with linear input-output equations. Presented solutions are simple, compact and relatively cheap.

The objective of the paper is to present in detail the possibilities of spherical parallel telemanipulator to perform minimally invasive surgery involving remote, lightweight, low-cost operations. Tire pivot point constraints makes the spherical redundant manipulator a natural candidate to laparoscopic surgery. Based on the database of in-vivo surgical measurements, the workspace requirements have been defined. Very important problem for ergonomic and surgery precision is a signal communication between two sides. And so it can give a feelings of real touching of operated tissue by the doctor. The 3D model have been developed using UGS NX8.5, several simulations have been carried out using the MSC Adams and Matlab programs, simplified prototype have been made using rapid prototyping methods.

Praca dotyczy badania charakterystyk nowego rozwiązania chwytaka wielopalczastego własnej konstrukcji z podatnymi palcami o specjalnej konstrukcji.

Roboty osobiste mogą ułatwić i umilić codzienne życie. Głowa zawiera siłowniki, czujniki i układy mechaniczne zintegrowane w złożoną konstrukcję mechatroniczną naśladującą kształty i wybrane funkcje głowy człowieka. Functional characteristics of an originally proposed design of multifingered gripper with flexible fingers is presented in the paper. The design work concentated on ensuring that the hand can contact with a variety of different shape objects made of flexible materials of different properties as well as fragile objects requiring particular caution when manipulated. Additionally it was assumed that the gripper should ensure a satisfactory reliability level, required high functionality and easy maintenance. The gripper design ensures beneficial variability of characteristics of the forces acting upon the object irrespective of the openning distance of fingers i.e. of the manipulated object size.
