Landslides and landslips are a phenomena with very dangerous consequences for the safety of people and their property. Prevention is an important geotechnical issue. One method of protecting embankments and slopes is the construction of retaining walls. In order to ensure the safety of large retaining structures, they should be monitored during and after the completion of the construction works. Due to their size and location, often near busy roads, retaining walls are structures the measurement of which using classical methods is difficult and time-consuming. It is reasonable, therefore, to verify the usefulness of modern surveying techniques for checks of such structures. This article presents the preparation of an observation base for classical surveys, the results of which will be compared with the results obtained from terrestrial laser scanning and ground-based radar interferometry at a later stage.

Osuwiska i zsuwy są zjawiskami bardzo groźnymi dla bezpieczeństwa i mienia ludzi. Zapobieganie im jest ważnym zagadnieniem geotechnicznym. Jedną z metod zabezpieczania skarp i zboczy jest budowa ścian oporowych. W celu zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa dużych konstrukcji oporowych należy je monitorować w trakcie budowy i po jej zakończeniu. Ze względu na rozmiar i lokalizację często w pobliżu ruchliwych dróg ściany oporowe są obiektami, których pomiar metodami klasycznymi jest trudny i czasochłonny. Uzasadnione jest zatem sprawdzenie użyteczności nowoczesnych technik pomiarowych do pomiarów kontrolnych takich obiektów. Artykul prezentuje przygotowanie bazy obserwacyjnej do pomiarów klasycznych, których rezultaty będą w dalszym etapie prac porównywane z wynikami uzyskanymi z naziemnego skaningu laserowego i naziemnej interferometrii radarowej.
