W pierwszej części artykułu scharakteryzowano sytuację transportu intermodalnego w Polsce. Zdefiniowano pojęcie Centrum Logistycznego oraz przedstawiono jego niezbędne wyposażenie. Opisano systemy przewozowe oparte na przeładunkach pionowych LO-LO (ang. lift-on/lift-off) oraz na przeładunkach poziomych RO-RO (ang. roll-on/roll-off). W kolejnych częściach artykułu zdefiniowano również pojęcie terminala intermodalnego. Sformułowano algorytm projektowania tego typu obiektów. Następnie, biorąc pod uwagę istniejący na południu Polski terminal kontenerowy - rozważono rożne rozwiązania układu przestrzenno-organizacyjne frontu ładunkowego. Udowodniono, iż racjonalne rozplanowanie infrastruktury i odpowiednie dobranie maszyn ładunkowych – może przynieść wymierne korzyści w postaci oszczędności środków finansowych na nakładach i rocznych kosztach eksploatacyjnych.

In the first part of the article there has been a situation of intermodal transportation in Poland characterised. A definition of Logistics Centre has been explained and their equipment has been named. Than the LO-LO and RO-RO systems have been described. Further an intermodal terminal definition has been accounted for as well. In addition it has been mentioned how designing these kind of logistics objects. Taking into consideration an existing object localized in the South Poland – many spatial layout solutions of loading front were considered. It was proven a thesis which tells that responsible designing of intermodal terminal can bring a tremendous cost savings in outlay per system and in business costs.

Specyfika produktów branży FMCG zmusza firmy transportowe do świadczenia usług efektywnych, pewnych i przede wszystkim bezpiecznych. Duża ilość produktów o stosunkowo niskiej wartości generuje potężny strumień ładunków, a wraz z tym strumieniem pojawia się zapotrzebowanie na minimalizacje ryzyka występowania uszkodzeń ładunku podczas procesu przewozowego. Odpowiednie mocowanie ładunku, transport w temperaturze kontrolowanej, bieżąca kontrola, to jedne z wielu zasadniczych reguł, których przestrzegać powinien każdy przewoźnik świadczący usługi dla branży produktów szybko rotujących. Na podstawie danych uzyskanych z firmy działającej w obszarze FMCG przeprowadzono analizę problemów pojawiających się podczas realizacji dostaw do klientów. Celem artykułu jest stworzenie modelu procesu zabezpieczania ładunku FMCG podczas transportu drogowego. Model uwzględniający wymagania rynku oraz specyfikę produktu, może stać się podstawą do bezpiecznego i tym samym efektywnego procesu transportowego.

The specificity of FMCG products is forcing transport companies to provide effective, reliable and above all safe services. A large number of products of relatively low value generates a powerful stream of cargo, and along with this stream appears the need to minimize the risk of cargo damage. The correct fastening of loads, transport temperature-controlled, the current control, are some of the many important rules that follow should each carrier providing services for FMCG products. On the basis of the data obtained from the company in the FMCG analysis of problems arising during the execution of deliveries to customers. The aim of the article is to create a model of the process of securing cargo FMCG during road transport. Model that takes into account the requirements of the market and the specificity of the product, can become the basis for the safe and efficient transport process.

Blast furnace and cupola furnace are furnace aggregates used for pig iron and cast iron production. Both furnace aggregates work on very similar principles: they use coke as the fuel, charge goes from the top to down, the gases flow against it, etc. Their construction is very similar (cupola furnace is usually much smaller) and the structures of pig iron and cast iron are very similar too. Small differences between cast iron and pig iron are only in carbon and silicon content. The slags from blast furnace and cupola furnace are very similar in chemical composition, but blast furnace slag has a very widespread use in civil engineering, primarily in road construction, concrete and cement production, and in other industries, but the cupola furnace slag utilization is minimal. The contribution analyzes identical and different properties of both kinds of slags, and attempts to explain the differences in their uses. They are compared by the contribution of the blast furnace slag cooled in water and on air, and cupola furnace slag cooled on air and granulated in water. Their chemical composition, basicity, hydraulicity, melting temperature and surface were compared to explain the differences in their utilization.

This article is a result of research carried out in foundry casting steel castings for the railway industry. The smelting process (smelting) in induction furnaces, in terms of the compatibility of the actual chemical elements in the metal with the composition laid down in the technological instructions, was included in the study program. In practice, the actual content of elements is determined by the static spectral analysis method and recorded in the documentation created by the traditional record. Entries are evaluated only in terms of compliance with technological instructions, which does not translate into improvement in the quality of the melt as a function of the duration of the production process. The introduction of time analysis in the melting range allows to take into account the variability of a number of factors affecting the actual (final) content of the elements and thus the quality of the cast. An example of time analysis presented in the article is the ability to use I / MR control cards for individual (single) observations composed of smelting processes and CUSUM cards that enable the detection of factor variability based on cumulative sums. Cards of this type can be helpful in achieving the quality of alloys in real time of the melting process.

Furthermore, the article contains the forecasting of the needs of the uniformed department with the use of Winter’s method. Wskazano, iż analiza poszczególnych czynników tj.: parametry eksploatacyjne, infrastruktura drogowa oraz organizacja i realizacja dostawy, pozwoli na prawidłowe zarządzanie taborem samochodowym w przedsiębiorstwach różnych branż.

Logistic companies want to offer their customers comprehensive and effective services, for that purpose it is necessary to seek new solutions that optimize among other transport process. Strategic approach to this process will help in achieving assumed goals. The article presents a fuzzy model of supply organization that takes into account vehicle’s operational system. It was indicated that the analysis of particular factors such as: operational parameters, road infrastructure and the organization and realization of the delivery, will allow proper management of the car fleet in companies of various branches.

Sformułowano zalecenia jakie należy przedsięwziąć, aby system ten usprawnić, obniżyć koszty utrzymania wózków transportowych, zmniejszyć częstotliwość napraw, a przede wszystkim wydłużyć ich cykl życia. Zaproponowano dalsze kierunki badań ukierunkowane na ciągle doskonalenie systemu eksploatacji.

The article presents the issue of operation of transport trucks, the elements of the theory of reliability and the specific features of the transport trucks. Based on the obtained data was carried out tests to verify the current system operate. Formulated recommendations to this system improve, reduce the costs of maintaining the supply wagons, reduce the frequency of repair and, above all, to extend their life cycle. Proposed further research directions aimed at constantly improving the system operation.

Furthermore, it includes a comparison of both planned needs and the size of the expenditure incurred in 2015. The article presents a new, innovative approach in a presented research problem. Artykuł stanowi podsumowanie prac naszego zespołu dotyczących supramolekularnych poli­laktydów. Przedstawiono nowe metody syntezy i zjawiska towarzyszące tworzeniu supramolekularnych agregatów enancjomerów polilaktydów oraz ich stereokompleksów. Połączenie dwóch supramolekularnych oddziaływań: oddziaływania enancjomerycznych łańcuchów polilaktydowych o przeciwnej konfiguracji i oddziaływania wzajemnie się uzupełniających grup przyłączonych do końców makrocząsteczek polilaktydów prowadziło do powstania materiałów o zróżnicowanej morfologii i właściwościach termicznych. Opisano najważniejsze metody wykorzystywane do badania procesu samoorganizacji enancjomerycznych polilaktydów i ich stereokompleksów.

This paper presents an overview of our recent work concerning supramolecular polylactides. It is based on the lecture given at 58th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Polish Chemical Society in September 2015. New synthetic methods and the phenomena related to the formation of supramolecular aggregates of enantiomeric polylactides and their stereocomplexes are presented. A combination of two kinds of supramolecular interactions: the ones between enantiomeric polylactide chains with opposite configuration and those between the complementary end groups of polylactide macromolecules, leads to the formation of materials with different morphology and thermal properties. The main methods used to investigate the process of self-assembly of enantiomeric polylactides and their stereocomplexes are also presented.

The complex logistics system, different processes and specificity of FMCG translate into the need for a large range of services and fulfillment service providers a number of requirements. Transport companies, as an important dip logistics chain, want to offer customers comprehensive services, and at the same time effective in terms of functionally and economically feasible, for this purpose it is necessary to develop and implement appropriate transport process. On the basis of data obtained from company operating in the FMCG was made an analysis of problems during delivery to the customers in cooperation with the logistics operator. The aim of this article is to create a model of the transport process to ensure the effectiveness of the functional and economic the root of the company's supply chain, which is a trading company.

Powinny poszukiwać nowych rozwiązań, które zwiększałyby poziom realizowanych dostaw, a tym samym podnosiły poziom satysfakcji klientów.

In the article there was presented the model of the organization of the delivery taking into account the process of exploitation car vehicles. Transport process is used in many branches of economy in order to ensure delivery to the clients. Enterprises which provide transport services should be elastic on the changes of the market, because market plays significant role in logistic processes. Enterprises should also find new solutions, which increase level of realized deliveries and thereby increase the level of satisfaction of clients.
