The aspects of systems theory presented here have to do with the theme of observation. The perception a system has of itself and its environment involves the inverse transfer of internal structures. It is completed by a kind of perception through decisions taken. Both are aspects of what we propose to call "epistemo-praxiology". Intrinsic or internal duration, adapted to a dynamical system, is another aspect of perception. The internal duration considered here is greater if the state of the system changes rapidly and is equal to zero when the state does not change. The square of the speed of evolution of the system, at a given instant, is proposed as a degree of importance of this instant. Application is given in the case of an explosive-implosive system with interpretations in physiology and cosmology.

The introduction in mathematics of concepts obtained as limits of already accepted ones has been a factor of progress. It has been the case with delta-pseudo-function (or delta-distribution). Here, we present what we call "epsilon-distribution", its theory and some applications. In a way epsilon-distribution is the anti-thesis of delta-distribution (or Dirac's delta). Heuristically it is a real pseudo-function epsilon (t) defined on R, "equal to zero everywhere but having an integral over R equal to one". It can be considered to have the limit of certain generative functions. It can also be presented, as usual in distribution theory, as a linear operator e acting on functions u in such a way that it gives < epsilon,u> = m(u), the mean value of u on R. Applications are given in the fields of probability distributions, Schrodinger equation, heat equation, white noise, generalized harmonic analysis and pseudo-random functions.

Time and duration are usually considered as concepts external to the dynamical system concerned, they have a referential status. But subjective times and associated durations may also be proposed, often in a metaphorical sense. The subjectivities involved may be linked to a degree of awareness, a metabolical level or any other kind of intensity. The kind we shall consider here is an intensity of change of the state of the system. So it has to do with an intimate feature, the basic idea being that there is no internal duration, and so no elapsing of internal time, when the state does not change. More precisely, the intensity we choose is the square of the speed of evolution of the state of the system and, in order to have a pure case, we consider an isolated system.
