The implementation of joint undertaking within private-public partnership would not charge budget of local government or at least the expenditures would be much lower than in a case local government was a sole contractor. Moreover, such a private-public partnership would reduce the risk since that would be divided between two subjects: private company and an administrative unit. Under Polish law, however, the implementation of joint undertaking within private-public partnership is currently unfeasible despite an enacted law.

The demand for outside capital in Grupa Energetyczna ENEA S.A. is dictated by the changes in the structure of production factors; by the planned growth in market share and also by the planned economic expansion consequent upon cor-porative strategy for transforming Grupa Energetyczna Enea SA into a mul-tiservice company. The capital gain is planned by the owner (the Exchequer) through floating Grupa Energetyczna ENEA S.A. on the Stock Exchange. Considering that Grupa Energetyczna ENEA S.A. is ajoint-stock company with an attractive economic, organizational and technical potential both under Polish condi-tions and on the European Union market, the owner's plan will probably end success-fully.

The ratio analysis is an efficient and expeditious method of having insight into functioning and economic transactions of the company. However, it must be supplemented with other analytic tools. The most significant restriction of the ratio analysis is the fact that it focuses on the past of the company. Still, when supported with the analysis of the environment, the ratio analysis can successfully enable one to predict the conditions of the enterprise's functioning in the future. The enterprise ought to be concerned with a broad range of the standard, economic ratios in order to gain not only a clear picture of its own assessment, but also to be familiar with the view about the company its partners may express.
