This study aims at developing mechanisms to understand the phenomenon of unethical pro-organisational behaviour (UPB) under goal theory. This overview on UPB has several implications for a better understanding in the general context of UPB and offers a base for future and potentially more effective management strategies by which to curtail UPB in the workplace. The methodology used for this research is the systematic literature review, which refers to information from various databases that assist with the analysis of goal theories and their relationship with the phenomenon of UPB. Major findings of the review established that UPB is an outcome of managerial practices and the intensification of organizational goals. It identifies goal-setting and goal achievements theories that might promote the emergence of UPB in the form of organizational goals and managerial practices. Some existing goal theories, like goal-setting and goal achievement theories, were analyzed to realize their contribution to triggering UPB. Future researchers could develop and test interventions to address the identified goal-related factors to reduce the risk of UPB. Organizations can, therefore, promote ethical actions and, at the same time, achieve desired performance results by taking a more holistic approach toward goal management.

Celem tego badania jest opracowanie mechanizmów zrozumienia zjawiska nieetycznego zachowania proorganizacyjnego (UPB) w kontekście teorii celów. Przegląd UPB ma kilka implikacji dla lepszego zrozumienia w ogólnym kontekście UPB i stanowi podstawę dla przyszłych i potencjalnie bardziej skutecznych strategii zarządzania, które mogą ograniczyć UPB w miejscu pracy. Metodyka zastosowana w tym badaniu to systematyczny przegląd literatury, który odnosi się do informacji z różnych baz danych wspomagających analizę teorii celów i ich związku ze zjawiskiem UPB. Główne wyniki przeglądu wykazały, że UPB jest wynikiem praktyk menedżerskich i intensyfikacji celów organizacyjnych. Zidentyfikowano teorie wyznaczania i osiągania celów, które mogą sprzyjać pojawieniu się UPB w formie celów organizacyjnych i praktyk menedżerskich. Niektóre istniejące teorie celów, takie jak teorie wyznaczania i osiągania celów, zostały przeanalizowane, aby zrozumieć ich wkład w wywoływanie UPB.

Efficient lead management allows substantially enhancing online channel marketing programs. In the paper, we classify website traffic into human- and bot-origin ones. We use feedforward neural networks with embedding layers. Moreover, we use one-hot encoding for categorical data. The data of mouse clicks come from seven large retail stores and the data of lead classification from three financial institutions. The data are collected by a JavaScript code embedded into HTML pages. The three proposed models achieved relatively high accuracy in detecting artificially generated traffic.

A generalization of technique for establishing order preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) in the intuitionistic fuzzy setting based on the redefinition of intuitionistic fuzzy sets theory (A−IFS) in the framework of Dempster-Shafer theory (DST) of evidence is proposed. The use of DST mathematical tools makes it possible to avoid a set of limitations and drawbacks revealed recently in the conventional Atanassov’s operational laws defined on intuitionistic fuzzy values, which may produce unacceptable results in the solution of multiple criteria decision-making problems. This boosts considerably the quality of aggregating operators used in the intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS method. It is pointed out that the conventional TOPSIS method may be naturally treated as a weighted sum of some modified local criteria. Because this aggregating approach does not always reflects well intentions of decision makers, two additional aggregating methods that cannot be defined in the framework of conventional A−IFS based on local criteria weights being intuitionistic fuzzy values, are introduced. Having in mind that different aggregating methods generally produce different alternative rankings to obtain the compromise ranking, the method for aggregating of aggregation modes has been applied. Some examples are used to illustrate the validity and features of the proposed approach.
