Rynek koksu podobnie jak rynek stali wrażliwy jest na dynamicznie zmieniające się prognozy wskaźników makroekonomicznych dla świata, a zwłaszcza dla Unii Europejskiej, powodując coraz większą niepewność, co do okresu trwania i siły wahań koniunkturalnych na rynku stali i koksu. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie obecnego i prognozowanego zapotrzebowania na koks w Europie i na świecie, biorąc pod uwagę aktualne uwarunkowania i trendy w produkcji wielkopiecowej oraz wyzwania w zakresie wymagań jakościowych, jak również warunków rynkowych, jakie stawiane będą producentom koksu zarówno w Europie, jak i na świecie.

Coke market as well as the steel market is sensitive to the dynamically changing macroeconomic indices forecasts for the world, and especially for the European Union, resulting in more and more uncertainty as to the duration and strength of cyclical fluctuations in the steel and coke markets. The purpose of this article is to identify the current and projected demand for coke in Europe and the World, taking into account the current conditions and trends in the production of blast furnace and the challenges with regard to quality requirements as well as market conditions, which will be set for coke producers both in Europe and in the World.
