Cechy, traktowane jako wymiary jakości produktu, to szczególne zagadnienie w problematyce jakości. Ich właściwa identyfikacja jest niezmiernie istotna, stanowi bowiem warunek dla ukształtowania oczekiwanego przez rynek profilu sensorycznego produktu oraz sformułowania skutecznej strategii jakości przedsiębiorstwa. Jednak w literaturze przedmiotu atrybutom tym poświęcono dotychczas niewiele uwagi. Fakt ten skłonił autora artykułu do podjęcia próby wyodrębnienia uniwersalnych wyznaczników jakości dóbr.

The features of product, treated as specific quality dimensions of product, form an original problem in quality science. Their practical identification is the most relevant question for the market conditions. It serves for the formulation of an effective quality strategy in any enterprise as well. In the literature those aspects are not so profoundly presented. Some of other authors recognize for instance three main parameters like efficiency, durability and aesthetic beauty, including to them five attributes like funcionality, aesthetics - fashion, then taste - consistency - smell, safety - usefulness and durability. This is a starting point for further considerations because there are many and different opinions regarding the problem presented. But what about reliability? or packaging, or service? What role play various certificates for products? What kind of parameter forms the innovativeness of product? Can we finally to determine the market quality? Very profound discussion around of that topic is presented in this article.
