Individuals' genealogy and the population diversity

Abstrakty

EN

In this paper we study the genotype diversity of the base population. We provide evidence that the diversity is closely related to the genealogy of individuals and to the degree of mutation. We give analytical formulas for the diversity distribution in the space of binary and real vectors. The theoretical results are supported by numerical experiments.
