Rozwój systemów chłodzenia słonecznego wynika z faktu, że nowoczesne budynki użyteczności publicznej, szczególnie biurowce o dużych przeszklonych powierzchniach fasad, wymagają coraz częściej więcej energii do chłodzenia niż do ogrzewania [14].

The article presents an overview of the large solar cooling systems. In this type of systems arę most often used three refrigeration technologies: absorption, adsorption, and based on drying and cooling by eraporation (DEC), which are associated with solar installations. The article considered only large power systems of a few hu ml red kW and more. Solar cooling systems of this size does not meet in Poland, although there is even a smali installation at the Technical University of Wrocław. The development of solar cooling systems stems from the fact that modern buildings, especially office buildings with large glazed surfaces of facades, requires incrcasingly more energy for cooling than for heating [14]. Solar Cooling Technologies is a perspecttre solution for energy sayings compared to traditional air conditioning systems.
