Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
Artykuł przedstawia wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w Polsce, Wielkiej Brytanii, Grecji i Włoszech, przez międzynarodowe konsorcjum badawcze, w ramach projektu PRESS – Promoting Environmentally Sustainable SMEs (http://www.pressproject.eu/).
The article presents the results of research conducted in Poland, United Kingdom, Greece and Italy by an international research consortium, within the project PRESS – Promoting Environmentally Sustainable SMEs (http://www.pressproject.eu/). The aim of the study was to identify actions undertaken by companies in order to formulate their environmental policies, as well as low carbon and environmentally friendly practices. Due to international scope of the research, theoretical aspects, included in the paper, cover international literature on sustainability and one of the means to implement it – green practices. The article concludes, that environmental aspects are important for the companies form all countries participating in the project. Therefore it is also a proof for the fact that the challenge of shaping sustainable supply chains is at present critical for all companies.
